All about hkbk college of engineering

So I choosed this course because it has the opportunity to take both tech as well as hardware , there are lot of opportunities for ece engineering, especially vlsi but we have to do some external courses as well , but the subjects in ece is very thought especially math ,EPC , network analysis , from 2nd year we start studying core subjects and there 3 labs , EPC lab , dsdv lab , ade lab

So the college doesn't provide any internships we have to find intership from our side they will give the permission to not attend the college during intership and provide attandance, mostly the intership don't not pay stipen but to join internship we have to pay them some many as it is compulsory to do atleast 1 internship before the end of the college

From 5th semester Students are eligible for campus placement that is the 3rd year, So I saw the banners in college they had mentioned all top companies like Google ,TCS,Wipro and all but I don't think so these companies come and select students from our college so it's mostly some small startup companies. Highest package was 12lpa and it was from CSE branch and the avg package is 5lpa Percentage of the students getting placed is 10-15% My plans after ug is to go to some European country to study my pg

Ok so I pay 85k a year when I had joined I had to pay 85k+25k for college from 2nd year I have to pay 85k , till my 4th year ever year I have to pay 85k , and my friend who are from management have to pay around 1.5l and the late joined students have to pay 1.75L

So there only 2-3 events in the college and those are not that great and all like calpso there is a event and for onam they celebrate with drums and all and some food fests are there that the only fests happens in this college. So the library has many books but only of the subjects of each department ,but there are not general story books and all So this college conducts sports day along with the vtu department but there is not proper ground the ground is very small and basket ball court is not maintained properly and there is only one net for cricket

So I had got less rank in my kcet , I wanted to join top colleges in Bangalore but then they where very expensive to join through management so I had not other options then joining this hkbk college, the college I joined is not that great because the avg package in this college is 5lpa but the other colleges I wanted to join had package around 30-50lpa , and my college has only limited placement like only 5-10 companies come here we have to try off campus placements only

Ok so the teachers are friendly here we can approach them if we have any doubts, some teachers are even very strict , so we have 3 internal before the semester exam which are gaped for a time period of 1 month , the exam are pretty easy because mostly the teachers give questions from assignments for the exam so if we study the assignment properly we can clear the exam

So there are many pgs near by , because there is manyata tech park near our college at night 12 pm also there is crowd in the streets and there are many cafeterias close by . So the college starts at 8:20am and ends at 3:20 If there is any extra class it goes on till 4 It's totally safe to roam near the college and there are many food spots near the college as there are around 50 pgs near the colly
