NGIT’s curriculum is well-suited for preparing students for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. Courses emphasize practical skills and problem-solving abilities, encouraging students to work on real-world projects. The curriculum at NGIT stands out for its integration of modern technologies and emerging fields such as data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. While the curriculum is relevant, more frequent updates could help ensure that students learn the latest industry standards, especially in fast-evolving fields like software development, cybersecurity, and data science. Adding elective courses on trending topics like blockchain, cloud computing, and IoT could .While NGIT includes hands-on labs, more industry-aligned projects or internships could enhance real-world preparedness. NGIT follows a structured semester-based system with regular midterms, finals, and quizzes. Exams are spaced reasonably, allowing students time to prepare without feeling overloaded. The exams at NGIT are moderately challenging.

Fees and Financial Aid

Neil Gogte Institute Of Technology offers various BE coursrs with tution fees ranges from Rs.90000 to Rs.100000 depending on specific course and admission category like management or government quota . coming to me,i joined this college in 2021 in BE(CSE) with tution fees of Rs.70000 . As i got seat in NGIT under government quota,i get fee reimbursement from government of Rs.35000.so i will be paying Rs.35000 per year(4years) . Additionally, there will be Rs.2700 as common fees include lab fees and development fees . In terms of financial aid,NGIT students can access state government scholarships based on merit scored in EAMCET including TSEPASS for economical support . for students with eamcet rank lessthan ten thousand , government offers full fee reimbursement and whereas for other students government offers Rs.35000 of fee reimbursement for every student.

Campus Life

4

My experience with campus life at Neil Gogte Institute of Technology (NGIT) has been positive . NGIT’s annual cultural festival, Vibrance, is held in March and brings the campus to life with music, dance, art, and literary events.we will have ECSTASY PROGRAM after freshers git joined in college and DANDIYA NIGHT for dussehra and SANKRANTHI event.so yearly we will have three fests where we can enjoy a lot with friends. Though it is more study focussed college our college celebrates fests in very grand manner. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, allowing students to access the internet across campus.NGIT encourages sports participation and has facilities for sports such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, and badminton. NGIT has a variety of technical clubs, such as the Coding Club, Robotics Club, and Data Science Club, which are highly active in organizing workshops, coding events, and competitions.

Admission

When choosing Neil Gogte Institute of Technology (NGIT) over other colleges, I evaluated factors such as placements, curriculum relevance, faculty expertise, and overall academic environment. NGIT stood out primarily for its strong placement support.Besides NGIT, I applied to other colleges includes KMIT , KMEC , CBIT , MGIT and other. as they also have strong engineering programs and good reputations in academics and placements. I received confirmed admissions from NGIT college at my time.NGIT’s placement records were particularly impressive, with reputable companies recruiting from campus every year. I prioritized NGIT because it had a consistently high placement rate and strong connections with top recruiters in tech and engineering fields.

Faculty

NGIT maintains a balanced faculty-to-student ratio, allowing most students to have reasonable access to their professors. The faculty at NGIT is generally approachable, with most professors keeping regular office hours. They actively encourage students to ask questions and seek guidance, not only in academics but also in career paths and project work. Some faculty members are particularly appreciated for their teaching styles and dedication to students. Like we have Vidhya mam and praveen sir for teaching java coding.and we have vinuthna mam for teaching data structure in a good way.NGIT’s curriculum is well-aligned with current industry standards, and recent updates have added relevance in fields like machine learning, data science, and software engineering. NGIT emphasizes hands-on experience through labs, workshops, and project-based courses, especially in engineering and technical fields.NGIT regularly revisits its curriculum to incorporate new trends and technology advancements, ensuring students are learning skills that are in demand.

Night Life

1

The NGIT library usually closes around 7:00 p.m., so it’s mainly a spot for daytime or early evening study sessions.Entry and exit to the campus are generally restricted late at night to maintain a safe environment. Generally for 1st years college timings are 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and for 2nd years ,3rd years , 4th years college timings arr 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.The area around NGIT is relatively safe for students in the eveningsFor students with upcoming exams or deadlines, group study sessions are a common way to unwind academically while staying productive.

It has regulations which is very comprehensive in covering the theoretical and fundamental concept or aspects of the engineering subjects. It includes strong core foundation in math, phy and very imp programming languages i.e core subjects. It has a guaranteed university recogniton like JNTUH. It should be improved in the teaching methords and conduct more workshops so that it'll be a practical experience for students to learn best. Jntu correction scheme is very strict.

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

The course curriculum is accurate and relevant as well. This helps the students to have good knowledge and grip on current scenarios, and it also helps to survive and get placement.Tge frequency of the exams is 45 or 50 days each. And it is not so difficult because the faculty teach in a proper and understandable way in which the students can understand and attempt the exams .
