As postive aspect there is well deciplined environment and friendly behaviour among teachers and students
The location of college is very good near river site

Dislikes

Its infrastructure and ground area is small
Some faculty member are so rude in permanent behaviour

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are very helpful as in syllabus deep study in preffered subject its kind of deep study is required wich includes students concentration and knowledge which is very helpful in competitve exams . And also very helpful to built base if individual wants to do PG in any specific course

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 1240 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was paid form of per year in on time .During admission including all it was one amount additional auto stand was mentioned ?200 .As fees was 200 less for sc category and obc general was same .In 2023 fees was renewed and increased two times .

Campus Life

Overall experience was well and nice faculty was good but i cant describe it in detail because it was covid time so i get very less time to live that moment but every time during admission it was offline process till now so students crowd new new idea peoples .

Admission

I chose this college for reason first it is near to visit yearly paper and no need to visit college everyday no attendence required just be updated .And its degree is has strong inpression in everyones eye and its boys college so its kinda helpful in not getting indulge in unecessary activites .Admission is now done through CUET but when i was admitted it was seperate exam conducted by AU faculty.And fees is so afordable thats why i preffered it

Faculty

Faculty memeber are coperative and but some of them are rude but unity among students of different courses are very friendly .As exam pattern is based on yearly paper whole syllabus is covered in it and marking scheme dosent contain negative marking but strictly checking is applied its little bit hard to get good marks .

Night Life

As college is situated near river sight new bridge is loacated and big park so its like junction very active environment one can eaisly get transport or wants to spend time alone or take rest so park is connected .inside college ground was best for hangout and playing field

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

I applied for many college which are part of Allahabad University but I chose Allahabad Degree College because of Commerce faculty is best other than other colleges. I didn't get rejection from any of other colleges for whom I applied for. And the other reason is the colleges I reject they don't go with my trimmings and classes may run or may be not sometimes. The college offers annual exam . This is a great opportunity to prepare over the year for not only the exams but for vast competions.
