Honest review

The campus is tiny. I won't recommend anyone to take admission if they desire a college life. But if you want a degree from a decent college with internal support then this is the college you will need in Ahmedabad. The student Development programs are very nice and effective.

Mechanical engineering is supposed to be the evergreen branch and the curriculum is supposed to be tough. The curriculum will be easy for those with interest but will not be for the one who is taking admission unwillingly. Exam structure is followed according to the GTU curriculum. Two mid semesters and a end semester exam. It kind of is easier than other universities. GTU is a well known and recognized university.

Job opportunities according to the college are good. But its hard to believe. The college says big companies come to the campus for selection. But i have heard from seniors only 40% of the strength gets the job. Yes this college provides internship. Stipend may vary according to the companies. It also depends on the size of the company. Overall the placement facility is nice but not up to par.

This college is active in all the events possible. Take it from college days ( themed days for dressing like character day, professional day etc) to cultural fest to technical fests. The events are decent and moderate. The events celebrated are high budget and the college spends a lot. Other than that the college spends a lot on student development programs like ASME HPVC, SAE Baja etc.

It is feasible. The overall cost is 3 Lakhs keeping aside the examination fees books and all. The fee structure may differ from 70000 to 80000 per year. It can be paid in installments like 35000 a semester. If paid in total a 10% discount is also offered.

The college offers scholarships to merit students. It may differ from 50% to 70% according to your merit or even more. International students are offered scholarships too. Even the ACPC offers scholarships if economically backward then the fees is just 1500/- per semester.

Extracurricular activities in this college are kinda good. The SAE team is a well known team in the country which has won various titles, the ASME HPVC team stood first in the continent. Comparatively the extracurricular teams in this college are better than any other colleges in this country. The win ratio for this college is ridiculously high. The college clinches at Least one trophy from each event. And all of them are prestigious events.

No i haven't. There are no hostel facilities offered which are decent by the college. There are some hostel facilities around the college as it is located in a posh area. The infrastructures may differ place to place

I don't think there is a alumni network in this college. The seniors are helpful though. They will help in every possible way. Required is the proper choice of senior you ask to. The seniors help in every event you take part in. They are helpful.

Faculty in this college can't be categorized in one section. Some are very knowledgeable and very well behaved and nice. But some are very strict and don't really care about what happens to the students. First and second years are struggling ones but the pre final and final year faculties are very knowledgeable and nice. As the well experienced faculties are kept for the important time period of engineering. Overall its a 50/50, either they are very nice or very bad and unsupportive.
