SOCET student Life

The college curriculum covers all the technology which almost match real world facility. Our 3 yrs curriculum covers technical, practical, and theoretical aspects which has multiple coding language like java, python, C/C++ developing language like html, css, javascript, tools like android figma and startup engagement too.

Till date I don't have applied to any internship form the college so there is no exact idea for that particularly but one of my friend got a python internship in 3rd sem with stipend in sanad area. We got a special subject in every sem which encourages the students with the innovative ideas regarding real world. The subject is named as IDT, PBL

Student is eligible for the campus placement on the sem of 5 after the 5th sem many companies arrives to the campus on various dates there are 2/3 rounds for eligibility like technical, aptitude round and many more. In our college there is special cell which handles all the placement related queries, the cell named as TnP cell Training and Placement Cell. College Average package is of round 4/5 LPA. I don't have exact idea of the highest package got last year The only cons about the placement is that companies sign a bound of 2.5 years that's why many of the students don't attend the placement companies.

As per annum for engineering a silver Oak student have to pay 78000 which includes tuition fees and other facilities fees and additional fees is to be paid of 1500 as a prc fee ( provisional regulatery fee ) per year. There are multiple scholarship our college offers as per my knowledge there are commonly MySy, NSP and digital gujrat scholarships

The college annual function called JUNOON is held in every even sem probably. There are multiple tech fest held almost on an month related to creative, code, and many more. Our college also had a NCC cadets. There is vast College library which includes books of curriculums others non tech subject too which engages the students,the library also includes entire study hall in which students can peacefully work with there college works and project allocated to them. College classroom is facilitated with green board, white board and Presentation hall in which they provide with ppts and board work. There are also sports related activities held in our college on various dates of year like badminton, football, game mania of Bgmi and lot more phone games too.

After Diploma there where an entrance exam called DDCET based on that merit rank are was decided and in the merit I had applied to multiple gov colleges like LD engineering, VGEC, GEC Rajkot, GEC bhavnagar from that Got admission in GEC Rajkot but the campus is very away from the main city that's the main reason I opt for the college and in Second round I got the admission in Silver Oak as a tfws student.

Faculty are so familiar and easy to communicate with them and they also provide a better guidance for queries or discussion. Basically there are 2 written exams (mid sem and end sem) and 1 internal exam.

The main hangout spot of our college is college canteen inside the campus othe than that there are many restro outside the campus, college also has large ground of parking. I am not living in hostel so I don't know the exact timings of hostel but as of my knowledge in timing will be of 9 to 10 pm. The locality is as such safe because it is covered with residence area and connected to the main highway but the streets don't have proper street light.
