Likes

A big campus area with good infrastructure and nature beauty
Good teaching staff with some IITians too
Sports facility here is quiet good too.(Only for University and inter colleges matches only)

Dislikes

The canteen here is not really good enough
No ground available to play on a regular basis
The communication gap between students and teachers should be a little improved

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to choose computer science and engineering because of the Current trend of AI. The institution is taking efforts for teaching there connects of AI. They should be updated about the current AI features and should give projects on them

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 91000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for camps placements after 3rd year There are many companies that has visited the college including Raymond , Mahindra , Dhut , HP and many more As the city is in developing state, there are low placement rates and hence the package is also decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

I will be paying a total of 91000 for a year. There are students who get scholarship from the government who pay different amounts. Also there is TFWS (tution free wavier scheme) That only requires you to pay 20000. Its strictly on merit basis

Campus Life

Overall experience has been good. There are a lot of books and journals to read asking with a huge library. Every department has its own club that look after the technical and non technical events. The sports and extra curricular activities have been a key feature of the college too.

Admission

I only wanted to go to this college Therefore not applied for any other. I applied for colleges in Mumbai but could but get the required branch so went for this college in my hometown. Admission process Is easy and is through MHT-CET and JEE too.

Faculty

Can't actually tell the faculty to student ratio but it's quite good Like if you don't understand the concept by one teacher you can go to 2-3 other teachers for that concept. The mechanical and civil faculties are very friendly and interacting with the students. The college conducts 3 seasonal exams to prepare students for university exams and for internal Marks

placements here are eligible from the 6th sem . companies like tcs , infosys , capgemini , tech mahindra , infocepts etc visit the campus offering multiple roles .the highest package is around 12LPA while average ranges between 3 to 4 LPA . My plan is to prepare for campus placement drive

COEP Technological University through my eyes.

Placement Experience:

Good placements are offered by this college. Top companies like Tata Motors, Bajaj, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Wipro pari, etc. Average placement for mechanical branch is about 9lpa while that for computer and entc goes up to 15lpa.
