Student intake is 60 per batch so every student get chance to participate in classroom activities

Campus size is very small there is nothing in the campus except academic blocks and hostels

As this college is under Biju Pattnaik University of Technology so the cutriculum is set by BPUT. The syllabus is outdated. There are no programming language is first sem. In 2nd sem there is C language

Placement Experience

In placement scenario this college is on top position among the other colleges under BPUT. The average package is about 4-5 lpa. Most of the students are placed in TCS , Wipro , Tech Mahindra. Students from 7th semster are eligible for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total college fee for 1st year is 194500/- it includes : Tution fee - 180000/- University registration fee - 6500/- Pre placement cost - 3000/- Blazer & uniform - 5000/- From 2nd year the fee is only 180000/- for 2nd , 3rd , & 4th year. There is a state govt. scolarship avilable for GEN , OBC , SC , ST students who scored more than 55% in 12th will get 20000/- per year

Campus Life

There is a fest named TRIFEST held every year which is the cultural and technical fest. There is a central library in the college. But the library is too small. But all type of paperback bools and ebooks are available in that library. Coming to sports there is not that amount of facility in sports . But there is a cricket ground and a basketball court in the campus. There are so many active clubs / societies are in college one of them is KARTAVYA . Infrastucture is ok. There are no gym and indoor sports activity area in campus.

Admission

KoThe main reason I choose this college is given below : There are around 100 colleges are under BPUT but this college is in the number 1 position in placement scenario. The location of this college is best because it is in Infocity area which is the IT hub in Bhubaneswar.

Faculty

The faculty members are very friendly they don't behave rude to any student. They explain every topic again and again in class which helps every student to understand that topic. Coming to exam system there are 2 internals un a semster and there are also lab works , quiz tests & surprise tests.

Collage Review of IIIT

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

Life at Trident college

I chose Trident academy of Technology due to its affordable fees , decent placements, Faculty support.The admission process was based on JEE Mains scores,followed by counselling.Compared to KIIT or CET ,TAT is more budget friendly but lacks advanced labs and strong industry exposure . Trident is a private college and in 2021 it was the only college we could afford.
