Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is widely relevant and comprehensive compared to the standards of today's academics. The academics include a lot of real-life learning such as GD's, interaction with entrepreneurs, workshops, and HBR case study discussions. The frequency of exams depends upon the faculty teaching the subject.

Internships Opportunities

2

Yes, the university does provide internship opportunities for the students where an extensive process similar to that of a placement process is followed. Companies such as Flipkart, TVS motors were listed as companies for internships during my time.

Placement Experience

2

Yes, the campus does offer placement opportunities for students. The companies that the university brings are all reputable firms. The eligibility criteria are based upon the company where few of them do not allow students with backlogs and some of them do. Few frequent visitors include Deloitte, PwC, Oracle, CBRE etc. The average package that the companies offer is 6.5L PA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The detailed tuition fee structure for the 2 years of MBA is rupees 15,00,000. The registration fee, admission fee, and such will increase to around 20,000. The university's fee structure is on par or slightly lower than that of other private institutions in Bengaluru or other metropolitan areas such as Jain, Christ, and GITAM.

Campus Life

4

There are over 20 clubs at the university starting from individual departmental clubs to dance, music and even a film club. The campus life at the university is always thriving with some or the other event taking place on a regular basis.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I did opt for a hostel facility and still live in the hostel. There are 3 different options that you get for a girls hostel, single sharing, double occupancy, and triple sharing. You get AC and Non AC options as well. The rooms are well maintained by the hostel staff on a weekly basis. The mess serves food 4 times a day, with the quality of the food being good. You also get an inhouse laundry service.

Admission

The factors that made me choose this university would mainly be their reviews from other alumni, It was reviewed quite well by a lot of people. One of the other reasons would also be their hostel facilities, another university I applied for and got accepted into did not have a proper residency facility contributing towards the rejection of that university and choosing this.

Faculty

4

The course curriculum, academics, and the faculty at the institute are all up to the mark. The curriculum is similar to that of other private institutions and even the IIM's, the curriculum provides a holistic approach of what a business administration has to offer.

Interview Experience

5

Yes, there were 2 rounds one had to undergo during the admission process. An online aptitude test in the format of a CAT exam and then a PI round which includes a 2-minute extempore as well. The topics that were given are usually general and everyday topics such as talk about renewable energy and such.

The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. The college has totally 6 semesters and after the 4th semester the students are eligible to attend the placements. The students need a minimum of 4.8/8.00 CGGA to sit in the placements The companies which visit here are - EY, KPMG, Mindsprint, Lowe's, Accenture, Tata Power, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Sabre, Oxane, Well's Fargo. The highest package was from Lowe's and the package was 23.7 LPA and the role was Product manager, it was offered for people from engineering background and with 2 years of experience. The average package here is 10.5LPA and most of the companies come for this range. The percentage of students getting placed is close to 95% as some of them don't clear the eligibility and some don't get placement event with good CGPA. Plans after getting degree is to join work and continue to learn
