The infrastructure of the college is amazing, it offers a huge green environment.
The campus offers a huge library for the students equiped with all types of books and facilities
The Elab is also there for students learning tecg skills , with 24 x7 wifi

Dislikes

placements are so disappointing only few students got placement last year.
Ai and ML is the first batch of the college hence its the experimental batch.
less hygiene, in the watercooler and toilets

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well balanced,offering core subjects in computer science and AI and ML subjects. Course curriculum is amazing but i think there is a need to improve teaching methods. there are 2 midsems and one end sem conducted in the end of the semester with average difficulty.

Placement Experience

The campus offers few placement opportunities thats why i have planned to prepare for GATE exam. From the 7th semester students are elligible for placements. companies like - TCS , cognizant , hexaware , accenture etc visited last year. Only few student got placed about 20-30%.

Fees and Financial Aid

FEE structure (yearly) : 1. Tuition fees : 40000 per year 2. Bus fees : 4800 per year (optional) 3. hostel fees : 4800 per year (optional) 4. Examination fees : 1500 per semester No additional charges. Course completion cost : 1. General category : full fees Rs 40000 per year plus bus fees and hostel fees if opted. 2. SC/St categories : scholarship covers whole fee amount as well as examinition fee. 3. OBC category : partial reibersement of the fee On the basis of merit student can apply for medhavi chatra yojna to get scholarship.

Campus Life

The university and student clubs host several major events. The events include technical competitions , workshops and cultural performances. There is a huge library in the college offering all kind of books and journals. Classrooms are simple tradtional based. Every year a sport fest mahasangram is oraganised in the university. there are many tech student clubs in the college you can join according to your interest.

Hostel Facilities

There are different hostels for every year student. Hostels are huge, rooms are larger and have good space , furnished with a table chair and bed. Food is horrible, mess food is good to eat but not too good.The menu is rarely changed. Registration for hostels is too much confusing,require multiple visit always carry a file of documents with you.

Admission

My JEE rank was not too good and i wanted a degree thats why I enrolled in the course. The college has get environment and infrastructure. The admission process is quite easier , if you have a decent jee rank you can easily get this college.

Faculty

The curriculum is well-balaced, offering core subjects as well as the ML and AI related subjects. Faculty members are well qualified , with most holding advanced degrees in computer science. Neeraj sir, Tuheen Mam,vipin sir are good faculties . Term exams are mainly conducted in the semester end with average difficulty level , mostly questions are theoretical and practical.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Best government college if rank above 1Lakh-2lakh

I have applied to top government college in M.P. such as SGSITS and DAVV but i knew that i was not going to make in them. but this college is better than any private college out there in terms of fees and placements. I didn't make it to other applied college due to my jee rank obviously. Admission process of this college is that after choice filling and getting into this college you have to come to file some documents written in your mpdte site and confirm your admission by submitting admission and first semester fees. The admission process is much simple and. the students are admitted based on their JEE scores And the cutoff varies according to the students category. We have to apply in the MPDTE website and According to our JEE score. We have to. fill up the form and select colleges for counseling and once the college has been allotted. We need to take the print out of the website and rush to the college under three days after the college has been allotted, we need to take a required documents, which includes 10 class marksheet, 12 class marksheet and migration certificate, transfer certificate of previous school. JEE scorecard and college then check for the documents and once they have verified the documents, the student gets admitted in the college. There are reservation benefits, some seats are reserved for the OBC candidates, SC candidates and ST candidates respectively.
