What Students Say

Likes

Campus size is quite Big (almost 300 acres). Girls to boys ratio in my branch is almost 50 50.
Infrastructure (buildings, tables, chairs, labs) seems like new and modern.
Staff is supporting and there is no strict attendance criteria

Dislikes

Mostly campus size is covered with unwanted trees. No one cuts other than show off areas.
Management is not good. Not at all. Could be best college if managed.
Canteen has been closed for a year. No tenders has been opened for canteen.

Placement Experience

After 6th sem students becomes eligible for campus placements. TCS Wipro TDPVista etc companies as shown in official website visit our campus placements. highest package on campus last year was 18LPA and average was 4.5LPA with lowest being 3.5LPA. Almost 50 - 60 % students got placed. I am going for Masters after this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester wise fees is taken in college and it is 20,000Rs. That makes it annually 40,000Rs. Registation fees is 5000Rs taht includes admission fees and other charges. I have no idea about management quota as there is no one other than counseling that has taken admission here. If you have category certificate than you can get 100% scholarship. My friends with sc/st certificate and with low income certificate are getting scholarship. Even other students gets cahnce to take scholarship if they are eligible.

Campus Life

There is annual fest call Shanknath happens every year. Along with the celebration of all festivals such as Holi Diwali Ganesh pooja Mata pooja etc. Library here is one of the biggest and has all types of books but only academics not anything else. Good faculty with new classroom technologies. Sports complex here is one of the best in Bhopal i would say the best. Annual sport event happens here called mahasnagram. biggest sports event in Bhopal(by college). There are many scudents clubs and societies like E-Cell(entrepreneur-cell),Phoenix(3-d),music club etc...

Admission

I have applied to top government college in M.P. such as SGSITS and DAVV but i knew that i was not going to make in them. but this college is better than any private college out there in terms of fees and placements. I didn't make it to other applied college due to my jee rank obviously. Admission process of this college is that after choice filling and getting into this college you have to come to file some documents written in your mpdte site and confirm your admission by submitting admission and first semester fees. JEE ranks only accepted in this college. Cutoff is almost 3Lakh for Gen and 4-5 lakh to SC/ST.

Faculty

Faculty is good and experienced. but mostly phd researcher doing their Phd's under professor. There are 3 exams in one semester. 2 mid-sems and 1 end-sem. Out of two mid sem marks of only one mid sem is added in final result. Both mid sems are quite easy and all the students pass. You can get good score even if you study one night before exam. End sem is also not that tough just syllabus increased. You can easily pass.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

GOOD COLLEGE BUT THE HARDWORK IS OURS

The admission process is much simple and. the students are admitted based on their JEE scores And the cutoff varies according to the students category. We have to apply in the MPDTE website and According to our JEE score. We have to. fill up the form and select colleges for counseling and once the college has been allotted. We need to take the print out of the website and rush to the college under three days after the college has been allotted, we need to take a required documents, which includes 10 class marksheet, 12 class marksheet and migration certificate, transfer certificate of previous school. JEE scorecard and college then check for the documents and once they have verified the documents, the student gets admitted in the college. There are reservation benefits, some seats are reserved for the OBC candidates, SC candidates and ST candidates respectively.
