Likes
- Campus size is quite Big (almost 300 acres). Girls to boys ratio in my branch is almost 50 50.
- Infrastructure (buildings, tables, chairs, labs) seems like new and modern.
- Staff is supporting and there is no strict attendance criteria
Dislikes
- Mostly campus size is covered with unwanted trees. No one cuts other than show off areas.
- Management is not good. Not at all. Could be best college if managed.
- Canteen has been closed for a year. No tenders has been opened for canteen.
Placement Experience
After 6th sem students becomes eligible for campus placements. TCS Wipro TDPVista etc companies as shown in official website visit our campus placements. highest package on campus last year was 18LPA and average was 4.5LPA with lowest being 3.5LPA. Almost 50 - 60 % students got placed. I am going for Masters after this degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester wise fees is taken in college and it is 20,000Rs. That makes it annually 40,000Rs. Registation fees is 5000Rs taht includes admission fees and other charges. I have no idea about management quota as there is no one other than counseling that has taken admission here. If you have category certificate than you can get 100% scholarship. My friends with sc/st certificate and with low income certificate are getting scholarship. Even other students gets cahnce to take scholarship if they are eligible.
Campus Life
There is annual fest call Shanknath happens every year. Along with the celebration of all festivals such as Holi Diwali Ganesh pooja Mata pooja etc. Library here is one of the biggest and has all types of books but only academics not anything else. Good faculty with new classroom technologies. Sports complex here is one of the best in Bhopal i would say the best. Annual sport event happens here called mahasnagram. biggest sports event in Bhopal(by college). There are many scudents clubs and societies like E-Cell(entrepreneur-cell),Phoenix(3-d),music club etc...
Admission
I have applied to top government college in M.P. such as SGSITS and DAVV but i knew that i was not going to make in them. but this college is better than any private college out there in terms of fees and placements. I didn't make it to other applied college due to my jee rank obviously. Admission process of this college is that after choice filling and getting into this college you have to come to file some documents written in your mpdte site and confirm your admission by submitting admission and first semester fees. JEE ranks only accepted in this college. Cutoff is almost 3Lakh for Gen and 4-5 lakh to SC/ST.
Faculty
Faculty is good and experienced. but mostly phd researcher doing their Phd's under professor. There are 3 exams in one semester. 2 mid-sems and 1 end-sem. Out of two mid sem marks of only one mid sem is added in final result. Both mid sems are quite easy and all the students pass. You can get good score even if you study one night before exam. End sem is also not that tough just syllabus increased. You can easily pass.
