Course Curriculum Overview

The aspects which influenced my decision were the cirriculum that the college follow and the areas of improvement could be not going according to the orthodox method of teachinf but rather new new methods which have come up

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

There is placement that is offered a decent one as compared to other colleges here the placement percent would be 60 percent and my plans would be to sit for the placements but if i cooulnt find my job ill be prefering higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for one year is 1.3 lakhs wherein 60 percent is tuition fees and rest is miscellaneous there are different scholarships provided for caste and for people of weaker section there is also a scholarship to the quota provided there

Campus Life

Overall the college gives me good exposure to alumni it gives access to so many good opportunities in and aout in colleges which helps me in further aspects of my life. It also gives me a sense of not worrying

Admission

I chose this college because this college is the best in the near locality and is alsoo near to my house...also the ratio of cost to roi is very nice as comparrd to other colleges in the town. So i felt based on my accolates this is the best

Faculty

Faculty in the college is the best in terms of teaching in terms of connect in terms of helping..the exams conducted here are much more based on practical life and only useful to the community topics are more taken into consideration

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET . The others who are eligible required a 95 plus percentile for minority eligibility....Read More
