What Students Say

Likes

Good infrustructure with every thing u can imagine of like a good and big library and many sports common rooms
Good professors who are cooperative in many aspects and almost 1:1 girls to boys ratio
Every week new events take place for academic and engagment purposea for students

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is very high with 80% cirteria and 70% with medical
They give so much assignments that it is very difficult to enjoy and live many times
Campus is not that much big and very far away the main city which increases the travel cost alot

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum includes subjects like physics , elements of biology , Engineering graphics and design, programming for problem solving, calculus , critical thinking , professional ethics , and their labs too which is somewhat the same as many colleges but further in coming semesters it is said to be very practical according to the real world applications , Teaching is done by ppts mainly which are sent ot faculty from the main mumbai campus . 2 mid term tests of 10 marks is conducted twice a semester and then term end exams are conducted

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 212000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

212000 for first year , 202000 for second year, And 232000 for third and fourth year , No scholarships are provided to anyone and no extra charges to that and security fees is included in it. Fees is same for all student of any category

Campus Life

There are many clubs like GDSC , Turing for academics which are very helpful and also clubs like malhar ,sangam for cultural events and singing ,dancing ,etc. library has all the books required for the course. Classrooms are world class with a conference room design Sports events are also very much conducted and many people compete in evernts in IIT indore also

Admission

Nmims admissions are conducted very early as compared to many others and not knowing about that i joined this college which feels like a mistake as could have got into colleges of IPU and be near to my home insted of this which is very far away from my home and didn't take chandigarh campus because its first batch will be graduating this year . This is tactic that they play by conducting admissions early and trapping them into this college . You can directly get admission in this acanpus and chandigarh campsu by directly visiting it and it is no so much strict as seats remain vacant , jus get a DD and you get the admission and one can take as this college is still better than that of amity ,sharda, etc.

Faculty

30:1 student teacher ratio , Faculty is very much approachable but after evrything you still have to approach the CR for initiating every thing Teachers are friendly to some extent but need discipline while teaching very strictly. There is no such faculties that i like but also there is nothing bad about them Many faluties are of very reputed institues like iit's and ivy league colleges

IIIT bhopal the hidden gem

Placement Experience:

From 6 and 7th sem student are eligible for placements .paypal, amazon, google and other and their are 147 offer from companies the highest package of this is 65 lakh till now and 85 lakhs last year average packages is approx 17 lakhs and their are approx 85-95 percentage of placements my plans is to become software engineer after college.

Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

Placement Experience:

The overall placements are pretty decent after looking at the job market currently. The students can go for summer internships during their 3rd year and also during their 4th year's 8th semester for winter internships. The students were eligible for campus placements from 7th semester onwards. Highest package offered was of 61 LPA from Uber and Nutanix for SDE profile Average package was 18 LPA From 2025 batch 60% students are placed My plans are to stay in corporate for atleast 2 years.

Nothing but truth

I applied in IIM Rohtak, IIM Indore and symbiosis Pune but got rejected in all of them, in both the IIMs I was not able to clear the cut off and in symbiosis I was not able to qualify for personal interview that's why I chose NMIMS Indore because it was my last option. Getting admission in NMIMS Indore is quite easy you just have to clear NMAT even with a low score you can get admission. An overview of life at NMIMS Indore

I applied for various colleges like VIT ,BITS, MANIPAL and even some local colleges like IPS, MEDICAPS, ACROPOLIS. I chose NMIMS because of the crowd and the campus. Primarily i was not prepared to leave my city and wanted to persue B TECH in indore only and there is no better college for engineering than NMIMS. I'm a 2019-2024 batch MBA Tech student. I took the NPAT exam for admission; however, the exam is now the NMIMS CET. Simple qualifying requirements include passing the 10+2 exam or an equivalent test with a PCM score of 45%. You may fill out an application form by visiting this website (https://www.nmimscet.in/). The test is given online and the cost of registration is around 2000 rupees. If you diligently studied for your 12th-grade exam, you can pass it with ease. The next year's batch registration opens in December. The NMIMS CET test will be given between January and May.
