Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum prepares well for real world applications or futher academic pursuits. After every semester there was some internship program for 1 month which helped me alot. It was overalla very good course.

Internships Opportunities

5

1. Hyderabad central university : One month in School of Life Sciences 2. CDFD: Centre for DNA Finger Printing uppal of 3 weeks. 3. Minor project was done at Institute of Genetics and Hospital for Genetic Diseases on the topic Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Major project was done at Institute of Genetics and Hospital for Genetic Diseases on the topic Early-onset Alzheimer disease

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester wise fees i paid was 50000. It was also a DBT Sponsored course. Where u can get 5000 rupees per month as stipend. And their the semester fees is 10000 and total course fees stands for 65000. Lab experience is also good

Campus Life

5

Annual function: Annual day and Christmas celebrations Many seminars related to genetic aspects. The library was also quite good. It was a smart study where u used to have techo classes everyday. No extracurricular activity was there

Admission

I didn't apply in any other college. When i wasin my degree i came to this college for internship and came to know about this course. No i didn't applied anywhere. For getting admission in this you have clear an exam GAT-B. The people who qualified and got selected will be able to take admission.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student relationship was very good. Faculty was very supportive at each point of time. And also they are very approachable. Actually all of them are very good. It won't be fair be enough to take only one name. I liked everyone. Every semester there used to be 2 internal exam and one final sem exam which include practical and theory. If you go through the subject perfectly and listen to the classes it will be easy to clear the exam. The pass percentage is 100%.

The geology has very significant importance to human in more ways but the Geology related jobs are very less in state government and central government. Few geology related companies are give opportunities to students wit. Internships and also provide jobs with tough exam and interview. The companies are Geological Survey of India and NGRI etc.. we expect that jobs in state government jobs but very less in state government in geology related jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive offering a balanced combination of theoretical and practical knowledge for learning. This curriculum helps in developing both conceptual clarity and analytical skills and prepare students well for real - world challenges as well as higher academic pursuits. This curriculum is strong and valuable. The frequency and timing of exams are generally reasonable though at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is an amazing course. Helps me understand the concept very deeply the curriculum is also really good. Every teacher has their own way of teaching some can improve but it is fine we can try to study and understand by ourselves a bit. When it comes to internals its of 20 marks we have as such three of them for one sem and avg of 10 is taken from it internals are of 1hr and externals will be about 2hrs 30mins and labs of 3hrs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.
