Course Curriculum Overview

As I take ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING I started by learning c programming language. Now it is going smooth to learn learn artificial intelligence and machine learning and python. If you really want to learn artificial intelligence and machine learning you just need to focus on it

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come for our college such as TCS , Wipro etc more than 125 companies participated for placements and internship. In last year more than 400 get offers and more than 300 get placed in their.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of MIET is 1lac 65hundred only and it includes uniform charges library charges and tution fees. For the students who take admission through JKBOPEE with TWF they get scholarship and their fees is 30 thousand only.

Campus Life

MIET has big campus provide by car parking bike parking football ground , cricket turf , basket ball court , volleyball and outside gym. It also has two canteens one is only for fastfood and second is for health and fastfood

Admission

I has many reasons for choosing this college as there is not good college in jammu except IIT Jammu. Also this college is near to my home so I can come and go easily. So I joined this college to start my college journey

Faculty

Faculty behaviour is soo good. Many of my friends are with me. I like their behaviour they acts as our elder brothers and teach us in a very good way. If someone has problem in understanding concept the faculty member arrange a special class for us.

The review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

My point of view on NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

NIT Sringar is beautiful!!

Placement Experience:

Marshal the placement resources so well that our college has close to 90% placement records. Siemens, ABB and such companies where ECE engineers can contribute are the companies that hires us and the average for our ECE branch is 6 lakhs or so.
