Course Curriculum Overview
Majority of the Companies come here for web dev (SDE) role so many of the things taught nn our course is pretty much irrelevant. Very few core companies for ece students and ece students focus on data science or web dev.
Placement Experience
Students generally become eligible for placement in the 7th sem after the placement eligibility test. Companies usually take around 3-4 students. Usually roles offered are SDE. core companies for ece rarely come.
Fees and Financial Aid
Andhra pradesh students under reservation get complete fee scholarship. General and OBC students pay a sem fee of 175000, hostel fee is 20000 and mess fee 20000. Apart from this medical fees per sem is about 2600.
Campus Life
There is no campus life, if you just want to focus on academics and get a good coding environment, the campus is fine. Other than that there is no campus, sports anything else. Student run social groups do exist and try their best
Admission
This was the one of only proper college that I could get with the jee rank that I got. This was close to Chennai as well, so I thought it would have an edge over other IIITs. the admission process is pretty simple through JOSAA
Faculty
Faculty is pretty knowledgeable but they make you focus a lot in academics and not any other co curricular activities. Some professors are really mature and can help you with your career guidance While some can be strict
