- the seniors and the phd scholars are really helpful and guide you in lot of things
- majority faculty is very good and highly qualified and very proficient with their teaching skills
- the infrastructure of the college is really very amazing , we have the asia's largest theatre complex known as swami vivekananda lecture theatre complex
Dislikes
- the male to female ratio is not at all good , in some batches out of 80 students only 5-6 female students are enrolled
- the faculty are very strict regarding the 75 % attendance criteria ,which makes participation in other activities difficult to manage
- the sports facilities are not at all good for the whole college only 10-12 footballs are available in the sports room
Course Curriculum Overview
the course initially might seem very irrrelevant with the current market trends , but as you proceed in the course you actually realise the course becomes very maket relevant and will definitley help you get a good job
Internships Opportunities
most big companies come in college for internships , some proff also offer internship by working under them , but the sad part is that the paid intership is awarded to very few students only other students will get unpaid internships only
Placement Experience
after talking to a lot seniors i came to realise that placemets in this college is almost 100% sure and one dosen't have to worry about not being placed . A lot of companies come in this college which offers students huge amount of money too
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for my college program spans 4 years , with various charges applicable each year. the fees is different for each category students for sc/st students they don't have to pay tution fees which is 62 thousand for a semester which lasts for about 6 months and for the rest of categories the tution fees is mandatory but relaxation is given to lower income students , many private and government scholarship schemes are available for students with various benefits
Campus Life
campus life is really amazing , it's a huge campus with a lot of facilities available for students , the sports facility is not that good though , the college has a huge library in the campus with thousands of books both fictional and non fictional the library has a lot research papers avaiable too
Hostel Facilities
the hostels are so better compared to other nit's we don't get power cut off's , the rooms are large enough for 3 people in a single room , In first year we live in triple sharing but second year onwards we get single rooms which is the most amazing part
Admission
i choose this college because it is one of the top 5 nit's and i wanted to study electrical enginerring which i was not ale to secure in the other top nit's so i had to choose this college , i gave this college priority over choosing CS branch in other lower nit's because i think that better college helps you make good connections which will in future help a lot
Faculty
the faculty is very amazing , very learned people , highly qualified but at the same time very disciplined and strict regarding rules and regulations , majority faculty is very helpful in guiding you and providing insights about the future buy giving you knowledge about the placement and internships and making the most out of your skills
