4

The course is same throughout the country. We have clinical classes with in live experience in the Out Patient Department from second year onwards. Classes are taken with on site examples of cases found.

Internships Opportunities

3

The internship is for one year and starts after the results of final year are announced. It is connected with MGM Hospital Mango and Sadar Hospital. There are different rotations in almost all wards with medicine, surgery and Gynaecology being some of the important ones along with emergency and many others. The stipend is currently around 20k .

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year at exam time you have to pay 12000 for girls and 18000 for boys which also include exam fees and hostel fees. At admission you have to pay 40-45 thousand maximum for admission.Mess charges are different and have to be paid per month differently

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure of the college is bit old but repairing and new hospital has been continuously been made. The new infrastructure is developing very beautifully. And the extracurricular activities involve sports meet , saraswati puja celebration with yearly fest. There are various chances to socialize.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostels are provided within the campus . For girls hostel, there are three different buildings which accomodate students of different years. Single rooms are available 3rd year onwards. There are different mess from where you can allot your meals. The price range is similar. They have different variety of food for different days. The registration process is normal and is done during admission procedure.

Admission

The admission process of this college is through neet score and ranking. After registration for counselling , you have to give a priority list of colleges you want to study in. My first choices were AIIMS colleges because of their infrastructure and pattern of teaching. Next I was in for the colleges in my homeplace Delhi. But after that I wanted to have a college in north only to overcome the language barrier between patient and me as a medico thats why I chose this college

Faculty

4

They are as much as professors you can find in government colleges. They have immense knowledge. Exams are every three months known as periodics with viva and theory and finally MB known as year end exam.

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

Mbbs is a long duration course of about 5.5 years in which there is 1 year of compulsory internship.being a doctor is the noble profession and gives you huge respect and that's why i choose this course, this was me and my parents dream as well.this curriculum prepares you to face upcoming challenges that you have to face as a doctor.i think practical work should be more instead of just bookish knowledge.there is 3 terminals in a regular interval of 3 months and then final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is overall a tough course because we have to study a lot. After all we are going to become a doctor, so we can't excuse our patients that we don't know the particular disease. I personally choose the course as I had always liked biology and i want to directly serve our society and want to develop new treatment techniques. In RIMS, faculties are highly qualified and they are very helpful. They always try their best to make us understand the concepts. Besides highly qualified faculties, PG students are also available to help and teach us in RIMS. In every 3 months, we have our terminal examinations and to appear in final exam or university exam we have to pass atleast 2 terminals. Passing marks in MBBS is 50%.

It's a good college to pursue mbbs. There is less discipline in this college and students focus less in their studies. U will enjoy your life to fullest if u take this college. As there are many college trips planned here.
