Course Curriculum Overview
As I have a very keen interest in computers and coding, I took CSE and the way my professors taught us was amazing as there were practicle classes as well so that we can learn the basics and advanced topics as well. There were 5-6 classes per day.
Internships Opportunities
So When I reached my third year and the time when we were supposed to do the internships, CoVid happened and we were back to our homes and had to do online classes. Still my college provided with enogh opportunities for the students and I did two online android development internships.
Placement Experience
The placements were also good, let me tell you something, when I was in my 2nd year, micorsoft came to our college for placement drive for 4th year students. We were so excited about the companies.. I was also selected for two companies TCS and Infosys.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees including hostel fee was around ? 98000. The tuition fee was approx. 40000 and then registration fee of 1500, study tour fees of 1500, library fee of 3000 and hostel fees was 55000 and so on. There was no reservation benefits as per my knowledge as all my batchmates paid the same amount of fees.
Campus Life
My college campus life was okay okay but we enjoyed a lot in the hostels, solving coding problems together, taking tests of each other, ghost story telling and a lot more. I alwasy regret one thing and that is the mess. At the time when I was studying, the food was way too bad, Dont know about today's but in my time we always used to go out to eat most of the days.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was good, we were 3 students in a single room and let me tell you that rooms are big enough. We were given 3 fans, 3 beds, cupboards to keep our stuffs and tables as well to study and eat. Hostel gates were used to close at 10 PM for first years and that is also a good thing beacuse they are new to the place so it will take time to get used to the things.
Admission
I havent applied for any other college because I have heard a lot about BPUT, from my elder brothers and sisters who were already a student there. And when I took admission, I was amazed by everything I saw there. My admission process included a small test (oral) and a group discussion and then I paid the admission feesa nd started my college
Faculty
So I was studying Computer Science and Engineering and my professors were the best. The best thing about the college was we were divided in groups of 15-20 students and we were provided with a mentor, with whome we can share our concerns and they were also directly connected with students parents for better communication. We have to give two exam per year and 4 tests as well apart from the assignments and projects.
Interview Experience
Yes, So my admission process was of 3 steps, first was to fill the admission form and then an oral test and after that we had a group discussion. After clearing these steps we had to pay the admission fees and then collect the neccessary items and then we could start our classes from the designated dates.
