Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai - Review by Rishikesh

The thing why I have choosed the course I have enrolled in, is that I have decided before that I want to do this in my life ahead which influenced me to choose the course. The basic curriculum will prepare me to have a basic to good knowledge on my field, but without practicing the things which was teached we will not be able to get experienced. A improvement is always necessary in every field, the improvement in the curriculum should be like covering the much about new technologies. The class test 1 happens mid semester with the half syllabus, and the Class test 2 happens just before Semester Exams. Semester exams have medium difficulty level.

The fees which I have paid to Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai for the first Semester is 51,800, along with admission fees of 35,000. The fees for Incampus Boy's Hostel is 92,000. So, In total for the first semester I have paid ?1,43,000 for first semester excluding the admission fees. I got admission through my counseller, I paid the admission fees to him & I was enrolled in this course. The total tuition fees for this college for first year is ?91100 with the addition of caution money, dress fees, book bank, sports fee, student insurance, etc it took a total of ?97,350 for the first year (only college fees). The total tuition fee package for 4 year of studies in here for ?3,30,150.

The biggest event which happens in our college is VYOM which generally happens around April or May, and then many events happen in the festives. On every saturdays, we have clubs activities for our exyra curriculars. Sports life in our college is also very good, there is a football ground where cricket also happens along with handballs. We have a volleyball court, basketball court and a badminton court. We are also provided with indoor sports in our college. Where we can play Table Tennis, carrom, chess, etc. We also have NSS in our college.

In our room, we have a total of four peoples. For each we have a bed, bed mattress, pillow, godrej, Table and a chair. We also have a cooler in our room. The meal quality is good, I really liked that and menu changes according to the seasons. For Incampus boys hostel, we have to register 2-3 months before the starting of the new batch to our admission counseller. It's ?92000 for incampus boys hostel & ?75000 for outcampus boys hostel for a year. Which is I think affordable for many peoples...

I got admission to this college through my admission counsellor. He described me to this college. I got enrolled in this college because of the affordability. It was in my budget so I enrolled in this college. I have given Jee Mains & Jee advance also. I was not able to get some good percentile to get a CS branch. My interest was in CS from many years ago, & I wanted to study in this branch. So, I chose this college for my further studies. I have seen the environment in this college, It's very good. Seniors & faculties are good, the campus is good, everything is good till now. I got enrolled in this college by Management quota.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:80. The faculties check every time if the students are carefully listening to them or not. (Using of cell phones during the lecture is prohibited). The faculties are very easy to approach, they are here for us whenever we need them. If we have any problems regarding anything, we can freely text them or in emergency We can also call them... Till now I have met most of the faculties of first year, and 90% of them are really very good, supportive, Joyful. They help us in every way, they encourage us to live the best along with maintaing our studies. I have really liked Payal Nene mam, Megha Mam, Pinky Mam, Pooja Sahu mam, Jaiswal sir, Vivek sir, Reshma mam, and many more. They all are the best for me, they are very good. I don't really know the name, but in the Induction program when the teachers were not alloted. A mathematics sir, came to our class. He was teaching us, and the students were giving answers in rhyming but then suddenly he asked only one student. He wasn't able to solve, then one by one everyone stood and no one was able to tell the answer and then he told," Behti Ganga mein too sabhi hath dho lete hai". It was like humiliation for some students that day. Otherwise, he is a very good maths teacher. We have a total of 3 Exams, 2 Class test & 1 semester test. Class Tests are easy to medium. The difficulty for Semesters are also overall medium. Anyone with can pass the tests reading 4-5 days before the exam. Among 80-85 students only a few student fail to pass. The course curriculum is relevent to all of us, because in the starting we are teached the basics of everything.
