Course Curriculum Overview

4

The VTU CSE curriculum is moderately relevant, covering core CS topics well but needed more updates in emerging fields like AI and ML . Real world readiness is limited, more hands on projects and internships would have helped

Internships Opportunities

3

There were many internship drives taking place in our college out of which I got an internship at a growing startup which was good enough to improve my skills And college gave us the platform to interact with such internship opportunities

Placement Experience

3

Placements are done by our placements manager Who is the back bone of the college in order for students to get placed in good companies But salaries are not much as expected though it can worked out well if u have skills to show

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admitted through CET in our college The fees structure for CET was 65000 and admission fees was 20000 and other miscellaneous cost was 15000 hostel fees was 23000 I didn't get any scholarship because there was no such thing going on at that time

Campus Life

5

Overall experience in my college was that I Was able to make many friends from different states and knowing about diverse cultures they hold. It was an ultimate experience to meet new people with multiple thoughts they hold

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel faculty is good and infact they understand each student completely . They help us whenever there we face any issue in our hostel . The hostel accommodation is very much easy and it's affordable too.

Admission

The main thing i liked about my college was the atmosphere it provided and the calmness it would give to become a better person in such surroundings . Also it had a great football pitch which attracted me to join there. Also the college had good reviews overall The admission process was also easy

Faculty

3

All our faculty were mostly interns Only few were experienced teachers.Though all of them were supportive and helpful I didn't find any issue for long term. The course for CSE was from VTU board papers and exams were held in our college only but the invigilators came from VTU and the marks were allocated for 100 in total.

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

In UVCE placement rate is almost good but we need more effort on self study . Most of the students works in internship in 7 or 8 th sem it means before graduation then they will got good placements. Some of you directly god good placements without working in internship.. Because putting there efforts..
