Course Curriculum Overview

MBA offers a wide variety of career options in various fields. This urged me to get enrolled here. It gives a real life exposure but not to everyone. Depends on individual to individual. Teaching methods should include practicals and not merely theory. Exams are too frequently conducted leaving less time to syllabus completion.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements are Ok. Not very bad and not too much offers. Companies usually pay less as compared to other colleges. More over every company comes with CU students as well which makes it a tough competition for CGC. My plan is to get a corporate job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The entire fee is around 3Lakhs. Apart from this there are other examination charges. Hostel is very expensive but facilities are not as per the chargers. No entrance is there, admission is through percentage. Placements are not too good.

Campus Life

Fests like Parivartan and star nights are conducted on a moderate basis and singers are invited. classrooms are non AC but enough ventilation is there. every class has a smart board with projector and white boards. Clubs are there both for academics and extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is Ok. AC rooms are good but food is not that good. Wardens are not very cooperative and mess staff is also rude. Meal quality is 6/10 and menu changes everyday. Hostel is too expensive and the outing timings are 6.30 for girls and no timings for boys. No lift in hostel with 5 floors.

Hostel Fee: INR 155000 per year

Admission

I choose it because it was feasible and it showed much higher rate of placements. I only applied gere and got admitted here only. Admission process is very simple. Just enroll online and upload the required documents and you're done. Next is come to college for campus visit and you are good to go.

Faculty

Faculty is good and supportive but at times get frustrated over students. Overall TPP faculties are putting good efforts apart from 1 or 2. Exams are not too hard but are very lengthy. 90% are able to clear that. Rest are able to clear in re appears.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted for intership program but one of my friend got internship in IBM company. Apart from intership many more industrial visits are made by the college. It's gives more knowledge regarding the course.

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

Placement Experience:

students are being eligible for placements from the 2nd last semester. there are more than 500 companies listed on the campus for placements, and some of them are Wipro, Amazon, Taj and much more, and no. Of offers made by these companies are more than 2000. The highest package is 37LPA, Average is 4-5LPA. And profiles are being offered according to course and specification. It's almost 80% and above for the students who are willing to get placed. After getting the degree I'm looking forward to a master degree.

Honest review

I choose this college because there are very reasonable fees which we can afford. This is well known college in my area which gives the placement to many students that was the best thing about my college. In our college they train the student by taking TPP in this we have verbal, technical, aptitutde. They prepare us for the interviews and this is not done in any other colleges. In first i tried to take admission in chandigarh university but there fees structure is out of my budget. So i choose the Chandigarh Group of College over the Chandigarh University. The benefits and companies are same as the Chandigarh University. The admission process of our college is just that you have to visit the cgc landran website and register their.
