Remarks

Our college is best for mass media and it was ranked in the top of mass media colleges. Our college has well opportunities for students to grow in this field.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose PGDM in Television and Radio Journalism/ Production and syllabus of this course consisted of the topics related to television and radio journalism. The faculty of our college had also completed the course on time.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities were best and the companies come for the recruitment like NDTV, NEWS 18, Aaj Tak, Times of India, ZEE NEWS, Hindustan Times, Business Standard, AC Nielson, DDB Mudra Group, 94.3 MY FM, Wizcraft, Madison, News Nation, DD NEWS, News X, Lok Sabha TV, Lakshya Event international, ABP News and etc at our college.

College Events

Many events celebrate in our college like MEDIA Chaupal, Film-making Weekend Workshop, We-Care Film Festival, and one of the events was Heritage walk, in Heritage walk organized food walk and people doing walks in the market.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of this course was 245000 rs at my time and students can pay the fees in 2 installments. The caution money was 5000 rs and It was refundable after the completion of my course.

Our college was organized the many extracurricular activities. Our college was organized Film-making Weekend, We-Care Film Festival, Workshop, MEDIA Chaupal and etc.

Campus placements take place after 3rd semester. But there have been times when students have been picked up by the Industry Expert during the session itself, if they were impressed by the student's performance.

IGNOU - Your one stop for distance education

Likes

Since it was a distance mode education, it was very helpful and easy for someone like me who was also working.
The subject matter was detailed and descriptive. The scope for learning was quite wide considering it was all online.
There were even practical subjects, so despite being at home, practical learning was also made conducive with the assignments shared and we got to get a hands on experience of things like they are in mass media.

Dislikes

Supervision was limited. Access to mentors and teachers for doubts was pretty difficult.
Classes were not regular. Communication was not proper sometimes.

Placement Experience:

Since it is distance mode, placement aren't offered, but after taking this course, my employability has increased in fields like communication, mass media, printed media, content and others.i also plan to apply to better positions and better companies with a masters degree in my hands now.

This is one year programme. So only one exam is held in the last of the year, and 1 or 2 months before exam campus placement is held Around 70 percent of student get placed in the different media industry I'm currently working with news portal thejantarmantar.com and after the course, I have joined India news

Placement Experience:

Unfortunately, the session was put on an indefinite hold before the start of this year's placement process. Although, AD Factors and JWT are some of the revisiting organizations that hire from different departments of IIMS in bulk after the end of every academic year.

A Place for Learning and Self Realization.

Remarks:

My days at IIMC were one of the best days of my life and it taught me a great deal about the profession and even life in general. It also taught me a lot of about myself and greatly aided my self realization. I have met some of the most wonderful people here and made friends for life. I hope IIMC overcomes the issues that have been plaguing it and shines again soon.

Remarks:

The college is a good place to be if a student wants to experience both a stress free college life as well as a life fulled of stress. The professors are quite helpful. The labs and other activities are also better as compared to the other institutes.
