Remarks

The college is a good place to be if a student wants to experience both a stress free college life as well as a life fulled of stress. The professors are quite helpful. The labs and other activities are also better as compared to the other institutes.

Entrance Preview

As I had scored more than 60% in my graduation, hence I'd to directly sit for an interview round. So, i just had to go through the interview round to get an admission at AIMC. Also, before that an application form is supposed to be filled.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course for CCEM consisted of all the basic theory required for a student to get an idea about the field. But to have a better understanding alot of practical experience was also given. It was done in the form of students going to an event and organizing the same and also doing mock press conferences etc.

Internships Opportunities

No internships are provided in the field of Corporate Communication but for the Event Management, a student can work with the NGOs associated to the college.

Placement Experience

2.5

A student should make sure to communicate with the placement person on a regular basis so as to keep a track on the opportunities. Also, as the placement manager has changed he still keeps on sending emails regarding the job openings in various fields which is a great thing.

College Events

4

Almost all the festivals were celebrated in the college. Also, our college also had its own celebrations as well as for the NGO (brotherhood) it was associated to. Various events were also celebrated and organised by another event company which was also associated to the college. Miran Productions and our team came together to organised various events for the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for every course had a little bit of variation. The fee structure for CCEM was quite feasible as compared to the other institutes. Also, the fee structure for students who could not pay on the lines of the payment criteria for them the college had other flexible mode or choices as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. The person wanting to study in the college can go through the official website of the college to look up for the same.

Campus Life

4

The campus life at AIMC is like every other campus life including a little bit of peace around. The ratio was almost same as well. The facilities like computer lab, radio or television studio were equipped with all the updated equipment. Students also gets to visit various TV channels like Aaj Tak studio or India TV as well.

Hostel Facilities

3

No Hostel facilities and mess food were available at that time. But, few PGs nearby the college were there and were reasonable as well. Also, various food points are also available near the college area. These food points were economical and hygienic too.

Alumni/Alumna

As it was a diploma course and when I joined the course, we were the first batch that was started so in short we had no seniors to guide us but our professors were quite helpful.

Exam Structure

The exam structure for CCEM course was quite organised. it consisted of both theoretical (written exams/ assessment on the basis of assignments) and Practical exams (class presentations etc). To sum it all up the whole exam structure was quite systematic and organised one.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college consisted of all the experienced professionals be it from the advertising field, tv or radio field, event or PR field. The professors came to give lectures and then had their own job in the same field to do. Hence, they kept on updating with the latest development in the field to the students. All this really helped us to have a better understanding of the scenario of the current happenings.

Campus placements take place after 3rd semester. But there have been times when students have been picked up by the Industry Expert during the session itself, if they were impressed by the student's performance.

Admission:

The admission is on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the college itself. The students need to clear the entrance exam in order to secure admission to the college. I joined the institute because of its reputation, but at least this branch of the Institutes is not at par with the Delhi branch.
