An Insight Into MIT College of Engineering,Pune

The college does have a good overall Ranking and has great infrastructure and also student friendly environment.But one thing is that the girls uniform is not up to the mark it's all white kurti and leggings which does not ake u look professional and is quite uncomfortable for them

SPPu course curriculum for our batch but now it is under MIT WPU private University with it's own curriculum of 3semster.We have exams in 2phases one based on first 3 units and the final based on full portion in May

Our college directly has culture of placements from 4th year.It does not provide any kind of internships and asks student to do internship from his or her contacts which is one drawback of this college .There is no assistance in internship procedures

Texphyer-Technical Event for core subjects Aarohan-one of the biggest cultural fests across the state Creon-Art and literature festival by the magazine team Spandan Annual Entrepreneurship Meet by Ecell of the college YAM-Yearly Alumni Meet NTC-National Teachers Congress a national event BCS-Bhartiya Chattra Sansad is also an event of huge scale where prominent personalities attend like Dalai Lama , Devendra Fadnavis,Prakash Javdekar, and many more

For SPPu General Student is around 100000-130000 and it may be reduced fees for students other than general caste but for MITWPU students it is around 200000-300000 which is expensive for a middle class family setudent to afford

No idea about the scholarships being given ..yes but you do can apply for government related scheme's through college like EBC for economically backward class students which aid in their college fees

Ya quite a lot of sports and other cultural activities are conducted round the year like various sports Summits where u can compete within ur clg as well as inter colleges which is a good platform to showcase ur talent.there are interdepartmental matches also for students.Labs are decent with AC and descent facilities but cannot be rated very highly also in case if infrastructure and the lab configuration of machines

Hostels are decent with basic facilities and various room sizes and mess food of decent quality The infrastructure is not so grand but ya since for girls it is inside the campus is very safe and secure.For boys the hostel is about 1.5km from the college

Ya the Alumni network is good they are always in touch of students and actively help in organising various fests and also guide with knowledge and experience.Also various lab sessions and theory sessions are conducted by them to help the students understand better

Well educated and skilled ,but some do lack proper delivering of lectures and subject content.Regular and Timely lectures are done with proper guidance but lack of external opportunities or practical opportunities is less
