- Campus , they've got a lot of trees and labs are good too
- Faculty are good , they care for the students
- Canteen is okayish , taste should be improved
Dislikes
- Strictness. It's like a school and there's not much freedom
- Lack of events and leisure periods , rarely we get a fest
- Classrooms should be remodelled. They look very old and ugly. Hygiene is okayish too
Course Curriculum Overview
I've choosen vlsi course as CVR chairman is ex vlsi engineer and cvr have it's best faculty in the electronics department. Opportunities are bright, would probably need a mtech degree soo. . exams are tough , curriculum is hectic and hard compared to other branches
Placement Experience
I'm still in the first year , so idk much about the placements and this course is new one , so placements scenario is yet to be unknown. College has claimed 100% placements, no idea how true it is lol .
Fees and Financial Aid
CVR college of engineering is a good college situated in the booming IT hub city of Hyderabad affiliated to JNTUH ,.It's strict college with a lot of unnecessary fines. College life is not on par with other colleges in same league , hectic schedule and less social activities. Events are less , they're a lot study focused. Fee is relatively high , 1.5Lakh per annum and bus fee is 40k no matter wherever you live. They'll ask you to pay 9k securty deposit and collect 5.5k for course files and lab manuals. People who have secured a rank below 10k in eamcet and belong to a reserved category, you will receive a full fee reimbursement on behalf of jntuh
Campus Life
College life is shit af , very few events are conducted. You get no time to hang out with friends except for lunch. Basically school life wjich allows mobiles lol. If you want a good cllg life , choose a university
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is decent but expensive. Canteen food is okayish, not worth the price . There's a nearby area called mangalapalle, 5 mins away from cllg . It's very convenient to get to cllg from there . Hostel mess is okayish too
Admission
This college was alloted to me at the eamcet councelling. I've written bitsat and I was I've got msc biology there , which has a very high fee and is a gamble. So I chose CVR over bits for this reason
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is high. 1:15 to 1:20 kinda ratio . The ex ece hod teaches us physics and he's good with the concept sand teaches very well . Not much complaints on faculty. We have slipt tests often and two mids are conducted every semester. At the end of every semester, semester exams are conducted by jntuh
