Course Curriculum Overview
I just chose computer science because of the hype around me of computer science . I would not suggest anyone else to take decision according to the societal hype , here curriculum is very poor , not at all relevant , extra not needed subjects some examples are environmental chemistry and manufacturing techniques , and just see the irony we don't have computer science as a subject in our first year despite being computer science students. The curriculum has to change to make students skillful and not just toppers to get good cgpa
Placement Experience
There is not so good campus placement in this university . It is just like that , the highest offer u can get is approx 3-4 lpa or nothing , I only know TCS who visit once in a while , that too not very often .so don't come here for placement because that so poor
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly admission fee is 83850 Sc/st students get the full tution fee waiver of 83000 . They just have to pay 8000 which is caution money. UP scholarship is applicable for everyone of whatever category
Campus Life
There are events once in a while oftenly but it's also so boring , sports activities are quite good here , we have smart classes but didn't got the opportunity to use them , there are just two club or maybe just group of some students , that too no one gonna tell you about , u will have to figure out on your own.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels here is the only thing I have liked so far that too because of the friends I made here, room are decent and spacious , mess food taste is quite good , there is just one problem of electricity , power cut happens here oftenly
Admission
I gave the jee exam and didn't make it to get an nit , so that's why i am here ,. So if you want to take admission in this college , which I will not suggest , give jee exam and u can easily get cs upto 4-5 lacks rank . And ece upto 8-9 lacks rank , and if u miss the jee exam , u can still get some lower branches like ee , ei
Faculty
Faculties are not that cooperative and just not putting any efforts to teach well. In physics lab , they don't explain us . They have just given us a module , we have to read that and do the experiments on our own , they just start scolding us if we do something wrong . They are two mid sem exams and one end sem exam . So total 3 exams , difficulty level is ok but it's just that teacher sometimes don't teach the topic they give in exam , I would take the example of mathematics for this .
