- I liked the faculty to some extent some of the faculty here is very experienced and helpful others new and learning themselves but try their best to help out students
- there's extra classes for doubts there's remedial classes to help weak students in studies etc
- sports and fest are also organised along with events related to many clubs in the college regularly
Dislikes
- The campus is very small and limited, no big ground available
- The crowd at this college is very average and aimless at best, few good Students as well but mostly average
- The coding culture at this college isn't that great and still in the building phase
Course Curriculum Overview
The one aspect that influenced my decision to choose computer science with ai and ml was the world shifting towards ai in the present tiles with ai becoming the present biggest innovation moving forward which is only going to get bigger and better . The curriculum allows some hands on experience through projects and labs. I think the practical hands on approach to teach should be improved further. The two class tests take place once a month and the pre university exam takes place 1 month before the final semester exam.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Many companies visit including big names like Amazon, Paytm, Cognizantz, TCS and offer anywhere from 4 to 10-20 lakhs per annum. Average offers are around 4 lakh while highest was back in 2022 of 36lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of my time includes 1st year fees of 128306 and the next 3 year fees is 116306 per year, with scholarships like up govt scholarship available for up residents, my friend received up govt scholarship of ground 60-70K and it is available per year, there's also ews waiver for economically struggling students.
Campus Life
The campus is rather small with not much campus life available, situated pretty close to inhabited colonies so that's good. The annual techno cultural fest is named udbhav and its typically help in March or April. The accessibility and range of available books is great with a great library available on campus. sports facilities include a basketball court a badminton area with Table tennis also available and a small field for some football. Student run clubs exist in college and they hold events every now and then regularly.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms including an almira per student, and a study desk with lights and fans, coolers available for the summers but no AC facility available. Hostel mess food is below average in taste and quality menu is good but the actual food is below par, survivable but not tasty, you need to order from outside every now and then to get some good food to eat. Registration process is easy and the hostel is affordable compared to other colleges. PGs also available nearby in vaishali and noida
Admission
I applied to KIET and ABESEC but got rejection due to my jee score not being on par with whattl they demanded. The admission process in my college is through either management quota/direct admission or through AKTU counselling based on jee score the fee remains the same for both the methods
Faculty
in each class the ratio is around 1 faculty for 50 students in a section for a subject, teachers are mostly friendly and helpful. In first year I really liked The faculty of electrical engineering ms khushboo arora for her friendly great teaching style and experience, i didn't not like any faculty as such but a few faculty are inexperienced because they are new, in each semester there are 2 class tests of 45 marks and a pre university exam and a final semester exam, around 10-20 percent students fail to clear exams i guess
