Remarks

Our colleges is overall good but faculty of some subjects should be changed for the betterment. So overall a good review is given to this college. Also canteen should be improvised for better staffs Thank you.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exam consists of 150 question with 50 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Exam has no negative markings. Question difficulty level is medium to high. One can unexpectedly get a very good rank or a poor rank.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good enough for thr good branches of our college. Many companies take students each year and offer them package according to their talents and result. No internship is provided by our college

College Events

2.5

The main event celebrated is Unifest which is one of the best fest of any colleges in North India. It lasts for 3 days. And many more events like Metacognition(Technical fest), Linguisticfest, etc are held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible as for a private engineering college. Tuition fees is 1,32,000. Many students are finding it feasible for engineering. It is little expensive in colleges under AKTU. So overall feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarshiop is given by the UP government. SC/ST students are given preference over OBC and general students. But most of OBC and general students get scholarshio too whose family income is below 2 lakhs.

Campus Life

Labs are good with necessary equipments present. Sports activities are carried out in which if interested we could take part in. Other activities like dance, music, art, etc are present and given importance.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel is too bad. Many hostels outside the college are far better than the in-campus hostel. Infrastructure is poor with rooms designed too badly and common washrooms. The food is worst here. So overall I would rate 1/5.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are mostly reserved but if asked for any sort of help they are ready to guide us. They do tell us about their experience and how to handle future-problems. They are supportive enough and not trouble-causers to the freshers.

Faculty

College faculty makes you underatand a topic by coaxing you into studying. Thats what you call a good faculty right? Yes. They try their best to get you pass through the semesters without any backs. Maths faculty is specially too good in our college

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
