The faculty needs improvement, especially, in the Mass Communications department. The placement in Foreign language courses is great. Its like their jobs are almost guaranteed and that too, with some lucrative packages.

The course curriculum is completely dedicated to the required knowledge of field. Apart from the course subjects, Environment studies and Language skills are also included in the curriculum. The students get assignments regularly.

The placements and job opportunities are great for all the foreign language courses. The students pursuing any of the foreign languages usually get impressive packages of around 5-6 lac per annum, from the companies like Amazon, Flipkart and Infosys.

Diwali Fest, Holi Fest and Bazm (annual fest). The fests are an attraction for the students in the university, as several competitions are held under these events. The collge also organises various meetup events like Friday lecture series, inside its Senate Hall.

Absolutely, feasible. Since it is a state university, the fees of almost all the courses is less in comparison to other institutions. There are many students who belong to the lower middle class families.

One can apply for a scholarship if he/she is eligible. The college releases notification for the students and those, who are interested, then apply for it. After, examining the applications from the students, the registrar shortlists the eligible ones.

The college has a big ground where Football, Cricket and Athletic tournaments are hosted. Besides there are Basketball, Lawn Tennis and Badminton courts. The college provides all the needed sports equipments and facilities to the students. Inter-departmental tournaments are held monthly. There is a separate building of composite labs for the department of physical sciences and media & mass communications. The college has a cultural committee comprising several clubs( Theatre, Dance, Music, Literary, Photography and Fine Arts). These clubs are regularly active throughout the year and selected students even get chances to represent the college in university level events like AIU, MUN, Parliamentary Debate etc. Apart from the several events like Holi Fest and Diwali Fest, an annual fest, named Bazm is organised in the month of December.

The hostel infrastructure is good. Boys and Girls hostel are separate. Every student gets a separate room. The fee is around INR 35000 per semester. And yes, the food is great. The menu changes everyday.

Yes, ofcorse they are. Here, in Doon University, this is one of the best things one as a student, will observe or experience. The students are friendly in nature to each other, irrespective of their year of course and yes, there is no 'senior-junior' culture here. And no ragging. Really, not a bit.

The faculty is great when it comes to Foreign langauage department. But if we talk about other departments like Mass Communications, Physical Sciences and Business Administrations, the faculty is not good enough. Some of the professors who are here as guest faculty, are great.
