good college with good opportunities

I chose this course for the flexibility it offers. As i've researched this subject can lead you anywhere you need to reach. It has a very broad range of applications in the Industry. The exams are placed at appropriate intervals and are all equally challenging.

I haven't had taken up any opportunities through the college as of yet. there are various opportunities with very decent stipends for students. Many of my peers do have internships or are freelancing.

In the design industry you dont need to be a graduate to intern, freelance or work. There are many opportunities communicated by either the management or between students for work. I do not know the exact process and details for the placement process in the college. But I know that Summer internships are encouraged and are a part of the curriculum at one point

The tuition fees paid per semester for Bachelors honours in Visual Communication is ?2,75,000 and there are the usual examination fees which come up right before the exams and there is a Activity fees that is paid annually to the management for all the events conducted in campus

The campus life is great here. There are a healthy amount of events held every semester. The main event being the KUGM ( Karnavati University Garba Mahautsav) which conducted with all flair for 5 consecutive days, inviting multiple musicians and guests to grace the occasion. The library is well equipped with books required by the students. There are student clubs for Dancing, Singing, Acting, Poetry writing and more. There are also sports events and teams.

There are two types of hostels provided for KU students: one is IN CAMPUS and the other is called United Homes which is off campus. The in campus hostels are two types for girls: one is a triple sharing and the other a double sharing. AC, Geyser, Pantry and all round electricity is provided. The wardens are okay. Mess menu in the campus is vegetarian and in United Homes they have a non-veg option as well, and is changed or shuffled every month. All of the food is edible but not ideal. There are food options just outside of campus with various options.

I had applied to NIFT, ISDI, Strate School of Design, Pearl Academy, Symbiosis, IIAD and more. I cleared the second round to Nift and got a very decent rank, which would get me into some of the top NIFTs but due to being in General category my allotted course in NIFT was not desirable and this clg was my back due to the high praises and good reviews I received from my Coaches and seniors. The admission process is fairly simple in UID, there is a online test and once that is cleared an in-person portfolio interview round in the Campus you have selected. Once that is cleared the student is allotted the Course and Campus.

Faculty is very approachable and friendly. There is a faculty experienced is almost every field. They give good constructive feedback and help us navigate through the process. There are yearly 4 main exams. 2 in each semester. In each semester there is one mid term Jury and one end term jury. During the midterms there are only internal jurors(professors from our university) and during end term jury there is one internal juror and one external juror, who is invited to judge the work of students.
