Course Curriculum Overview

3

Certain courses in the first year were irrelevant. They were fun, but irrelevant. Graphic design for cse students? Why? They have however improved and standardized the courses but they do make mistakes I think I time, they will improve

Internships Opportunities

3

Even if they can't provide, you can't deny they work very hard. They are definitely trying, failing but trying to bring as many companies as they can. Some common companies like tcs and others are there with basic 10k 5k stipends.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am the first year at the University and we paid 50,000/- per sem in the first year. Since then it's decreased to 41,000/- per sem. It remained the same all 4 years for btech degree in both cse and aiml branch. For bsc I would have been something like 70 to 90k per sem. For junior years the fees also increase to about 60k for btech per sem. There's a 100% tuition scholarship for families with income less than a certain level. Admission based on jee, gujcet and the benefits of sc, st is as per those exams only. Disability is also factor for sholarship of certain amount.

Campus Life

5

Lots of active clubs and lots of events. The best part of the University I would say. If you wanna have the best four years in terms of fun. This is the unniversity. Atleast, it was while I am here. It's degrading now I think but still better than most. Lots of sports and matched. Including football basketball, cricket.

Admission

My lack of motivatio to study meant I couldn't score much marks in jee or any other. The campus looked nice and they promised so much. It made me believe, if you are a good student then placement of moderate level as well as preparation and help for higher studies is available.

Faculty

2

There's about 1 faculty for every 40-50 Students. Each of them have experience, but I would say some of them are very educational while not qualified, others are qualified but maybe not as educational. The exams are moderate level. They provide important questions which if properly gone through means full marks. The important questions, however basically cover the entire course.

Interview Experience

3

The interview was just a formality. They ask basic questions regarding cse course. They accept jee and gujcet results and also maybe 12th marks. Very easy to get admission I would say. Just show them money if not.

Night Life

4

Imagine a resort. That's the University. Theres multiple cafes and good food. Library is cool I guess. Fun hangout places. And very safe. Hostel has curfew at 10 I think. But you can sneak out maybe. There are also some events at night

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

In technical courses like Computer Engineering and Petroleum Engineering, organizations like Reliance Industries, Shell, and ONGC visit the campus on a regular basis. In our batch, the placement rate is approximately 80–90% of students with average salary packages ranging from 7–12 LPA. A few record-breaking offers, particularly in core branches, have been as much as 24 LPA.

Skills are developed from the word go and our placement and training cell keeps a full track of it. Though, unless and until we enter the final yes, we are not allowed to sit for placements. L&T Infotech, TCS, Tata Technologies, Happiest Minds and various other top IT firms have made sure that placements are almost 90%. Average too is maintained over 10Lpa.
