Remarks

I have found one good thing in this college that it is a ragging free campus.

Entrance Preview

I took IIT JEE Mains in which I scored 91 out of 360. I got 2,56,000 AIR. I opted thos college as many teachers suggested me to choose this.

Internships Opportunities

For internship programme, every branch has its leader in respective years. Every student has his own choice for doing training. We all select our nearest companies.

Placement Experience

A lot of companies come to our college for recruitment. Infosys comes first which gives an annual package of 3,25,000. After this companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Lintech, etc comes. Around 90% of the students get job every year.

College Events

Around every month a dance ceremony is organised on festivals like Ganesh chaturthi, New year, Diwali, Vishwakarma puja, etc. At the end of year, a grand fest of three days is organised in which all year students participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much feasible. Its only 90,000 per year and hostel and mess fees are 55,000 per year. So, all around 1,50,000 per year which I think is not much as per engineering level.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given by state government to SC/ST, OBC and minority students. If anyone need loan, College can provide them from punjab National Bank.

Campus Life

I feel very much comfortable in my college campus. It is situated in the perfect place. There are three grounds for extra co-curricular activities lie cricket, football, basketball, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Many students have passed out from here who are in a good position. Seniors help us to choose our way that what is the preferred way of studying, job selection, etc.

Exam Structure

Exams are taken on regular basis which helps us in our semester exam. Two internal exams are conducted in each semester. 3 labs are done in a week which is a bit enjoying.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

The reality of GITA AUTONOMOUS college

There are 3 ways to join this college. 1.JEE councelling If you have the rank in between approximately 350000 to 1500000 , then you can join in this college without any problem. 2.OJEE councelling 3.You can get management seats if you passed in 12th examination with PCM subject selection . But you have to score more than a specific mark in the PCM subjects. You can apply to get admission in this college by Jossa councelling (jee) website and ojee councelling website. If you want to join by jossa councelling then you have to fill up the form by asked documents and 10000 councelling fees. Admission process is quite easy but there is also an another process in which you just have to contact the college admission department and you have to give 20000 and the college go through every process of the admission by themselves.
