Course Curriculum Overview

Chemical engineering is a rare trade in our state and only 4 colleges have it as an option. I would say our college has been the best for it since a really long time we have good teachers , great environment to make you a good chemical engineering and even give a reputed job

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 980 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a government polytechnic so fees wise it's really good and the teachers are really good too staff is helpful but the only criticism i would give would be that the lacs don't have enough equipment...

Campus Life

It conducted Every possible programme like fresher, fest , farewell to alumni where we introduced ourselves to our passout seniors and that helped us understand what opportunities our future holds so it was highly appreciated

Admission

I choose this college because of obvious reasons like it's a government polytechnic. And it has chemical engineering on top of that it highly reputed for being the best politechnic collage in our area , I live near it so it was natural for me to go there and honestly I don't regret it a bit

Faculty

As far as the staff go after spending 3 years in the college i would say that the normal staff are really nice people and even the faculties are very helpful . I would also add that they do their jobs perfectly and help the students.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical engineers design and build solutions to a range of problems.improving efficiency across wide range of industries. By studying mechanical engineering, I can look forward to good job prospects.high salaries and varied work.my collage has nice equipped laboratories and good classroom.it has well maintained hostel for men. I love the environment of my collage.my collage give importance to both studies and other extracurriculum activities. My favourite teacher is professor sourav das.he can handle any type of students.my collage teacher teaching methods are awesome , teachers serve as instructor who deliver knowledge to their students.through lecture and direct instructions aim to measure the result through testing and assignments. 3 years full time diploma engineering courses that's 1 semester/ 6 month. It is too difficult to pass out of this branch. The syllabus of mechanical engineering is quite huge. One cannot comprehend the vastness of mechanical engineering.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

After the 5th Semester apparently companies start interviewing students. I am going through campusing right now. I have been selected by Aurora for further interviewing. Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

To gain admission to this college, candidates must have passed the class 10th board exam with the minimum required marks. After this, they need to take the West Bengal JEXPO exam and secure a good rank. In my case, I obtained a general rank of 165 and a category rank of 30.
