Likes

Teachers of the college are very helpful
Placement cell helps you find a good job

Dislikes

The condition of the classrooms is really poor
The lads have very Little supply to conduct our experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemical engineering is a rare trade in our state and only 4 colleges have it as an option. I would say our college has been the best for it since a really long time we have good teachers , great environment to make you a good chemical engineering and even give a reputed job

All about Hooghly Institute of Technology

Likes

It's a government college,so the quality of faculty is too good. The faculty is well known in all over the west Bengal. They are so much helpful in problem solving.
Good environment in college, a play group also available and many trees are there .

Dislikes

The distance from nahati farighata is 2 km.
Play group are not maintained properly through the year.

Placement Experience:

In this college, there were many companies visited like ITC, Jindal, Capgemini, Maclados, Himadri Petrochemical, and many more.Our college has managed to maintain good placement records throughout the years, which inspires us to be a great college. Every year, almost 60–70 percent of students get their placement on campus from our college. Our highest package is INR 4 lakh per year. Our lowest package is INR 1.5 lakh per year. Our average package is INR 1.7 lakh per year.

Affordable Excellence: High-Quality Education and Friendly Faculty at Our College

Likes

The quality of teacher and study techniques are good
Availability of library facility is also good

Dislikes

Almost every workshops are extremely busy, although the things we used are still still clean and little bit of rusty,but i dislike the dusty environment
There should be some other kind of books available in the library except for engineering books

Placement Experience:

the students take their placement after completing their 3 year. I cannot say that the placement package is very good, but it is decent enough. Average package is 2.6 lakh per annum. I think that the highest package offered is 6 lakh per annum(not sure). Companies like tcs,wipro,himadri chemicals, bullet visit our college and give placement, but most students got placed are from electrical engineering department. Because i think they are more studios than others.And at Iast i have thought about pursuing higher studies in b.tech after completing the course.

I choose this course because I want to be an engineer Mostly boys are in our class like 80% The teaching method is very good for our students. This is 3 years course 1 sem after 6 months and this is medium difficult to pass

Because I love the chemistry that is why I choose this course this is basically good for those who are love chemistry Student ratio 5:1(boys: girls) The teaching faculty is very good everyone is Jadavpur pass out two of them, PhD holder, they are very helpful Passing exams quite easy

Students can sit in the placement after finishing their 5th semester. nearly all of the leading ITC companies, Jindal, and HPL have visited our campus. the number of offers and the average package are increasing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Civil engineering is the mother of engineering. That's why I choose this course. The ratio of faculty and student is 1:10. All the faculty are highly qualified and their teaching method is very good. 2 internal exams and one 1-semester exam are done per 1 semester and it is smooth.
