Likes

Teaching style of all the professors. All are well qualified and have good knowledge about their subjects
Campus size and facilities like sports complex, labs and the most unique IDEA LAB
On a prime location which gives good vibes

Dislikes

Classrooms are quiet small and fans are quiet slow
Canteen is small and congested according to the college
Hostel could have been made good but its still okay

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is quiet relevant according to the industry nowadays. The labs and course is accurate regarding the industry and the job market we get info about the job markups well in the class and labs as well

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 38400 per year

Placement Experience

The college provides placement about 5-6 lpa and the highest package is 20lpa. I want to persue Mtech from IITs so I'll definitely prepare for GATE and persue my masters for the best prestigious colleges of India

Fees and Financial Aid

As spending 1 month in BIT durg the fees is quiet reasonable which is 38000 per semester according to the facilities they are providing. They provide scholarships given by Chhattisgarh govt on merit basis which is 19000 per semester

Campus Life

There are many clubs for every kind of person. Like sports, astronomy and much more. Each club has their own meetings rooms which provides good interaction between all the members of the club in college

Admission

The college is near to my house so it was a better option for me ans the fees is also quiet reasonable so it is affordable for financially unstable people who want to persue engineering and its one of the best in out state

Faculty

The students to teacher ratio is quiet good. Teachers interact with students for every doubt and problems. All the faculty are great and have good knowledge about the subjects. There are 3 exams CT1 CT2 and ESE

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET. Cut-off for JEE Mains isn't really high here, 75 percentile can easily land you here with computer science branch. I don't really know much about the JEE Mains cut-off.
