IHM PUSA on my views

I wanted to become a chef and I love food thats why I chose this college and this perfect college if you want develop your personality and wanted to be great individual and a great team worker. As far my classes hasn't been started yet so I don't know much about the classes but as far as I know it will gonna be a great journey

In IHM'S we didn't call it intership we called it Industrial training where you have to work for 4 months from second year and they will make sure that the trainee is working on every field of hotel sector and it will help you to give you a lot of experience which further help you get foreign placements but one cons is that is working hours will be a lot but the stipend will be low

As for the placement the average salary is 8L/yr and highest is 18l/yr in India and if you placed by a foreign company then the salary can get much higher than the salary of engineers these days. Companies like TAJ , LALIT, OBEROI, MARRIOT visited the institute for placements

The Fees of IHM PUSA, DELHI is different in 6 semester,as you have to pay 97515 for first semester as it includes Admission fees -1600 NCHM FEE-3600 JNU FEE-10215 Tuition fee-65100 NCHM EXAM FEE-3000 Institutional fee-5000 Mid term- assessment/exam fee-1000 Caution fee(refundable)-8000 And for 2nd ,3rd,4th,5th,6th semester we have to pay 79000, As the rest semester didn't include addmission fee, JNU fee,NCHM Fee and caution fee *There is no concession for reserve catagory except for EWS. And fees of IHM may be differ in different city as the fees depends from where the college belongs. *The fees might be increased or decreased for next batch

The classroom were perfect and you can get any books from library. The Club's were the core of the institute as the clubs organised most of the events.They also provide modern day equipment for hotel management institute. And the sportsmanship between teachers and students were next level during sports events

The rooms were big they also provide AC to single seater room and the hostel is for 1st year student only so there no chance of ragging. There is a lounge room where you can get access to TV and gym and wifi(,only for TV Not for students use) , they provide basketball court, vollyball court, badminton court and every sports accessories were available in hostel. As it's college around food industry so I don't have to tell you how good is mess food.if you didn't get a room in hostel you can rent pg in patel nagar or rajendra nagar and the college is near from those two areas

If wanna get admission in IHMs you should start preparing for NCHMCT JEE the entrance for IHMs and SIHMs. You can feel the form from NTA website or NCHMCT JEE main website. You can get also direct admission if you are in top 200 in your respective boards examination. As IHM PUSA DELHI is ranked 1 you have to be the best among the best. For cracking this entrance exam you need to be good in English and Maths and services sector aptitude and current affairs (gk). The form of this exam is out from January to March and exam was conducted on May

The faculty is well educated and also represent India over international stage and it's amazing that how many facilities they were providing the students and the seniors were way too good over here and they guide you to be better version of yourself
