Course Curriculum Overview

2

I chose this course because of the trend in market i thought of it woulf be great in future and will get more oppurtunities in this course Ans my curriculum doesnt even prepare me for real world apllication they are back in all that things they dont care about student not getting job and all I would say if there was like more workshops and more skill developing activities it would be great Timing and frequency of exams are good they dont make me that stressfull like people says engineering stressful

Internships Opportunities

1

This is important thing our college doesnt provide effective internship at all.my college is really bad at providing internship and placement there are companies student opt for internship with stipend but my collehe doesnt provide it student opt for it by their own terms

Placement Experience

1

Student become eligible from 7 sem for campus placements Tbe campus placement include novigo infosys and many but the highest package of our collehe is 8lp and avefage is 2-3lpa which is very less Student will get placements by their own terms not by campus placement very less student will get campus placement which is i regretting joining this college And my plan after getting degree is i want to join really good company with good packages or else i will just marry

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined college through cet quota so my first year fee is 104265 but in 2nd year it is 96000 but they take extra 5k saying placement and training fee, which is of no use like their placement doesnt have good package and training doesnt give any great skill development And they also charge for each and everything like for assignment book then exam book and then for test paper so on.. And they also take exam fees which is 1800 And as of my batchmate fees whoever jojned through cet has same fees but managment fees is variable some has 100k some 150k and some even has 200k. Abouy scholarships theres state scholarship which we can apply thats all The pros is it has fees less than other colleges of engineering but theres also good facility and good placements but here my college has no good placements

Campus Life

2

Focusing on social aspects yeah they conduct so many festivals like cultural fest and then many competitions and theres also lther fests which student conducts by authorities permission Theres also embedded club but its for cse,for my course theres nothing by now They also conduct sports and even tournament so for fest and extracurricular my college is like fine

Admission

My first prioriru was this collehe itself even tjough i wanted to join sahyadri but i knew i would get travelling issues so i didnt apply for it.sabyadri is best engineering college in mangalore and they even provide good placements they provide all training need for a student Whereas in my college they dont do all these thing even the final year student has internship at class itself i

Faculty

3

About faculty as i said there are good faculties like my oops sir afsar he is a good faculty we unserstand everything he teach and he also gives tips for skill developing also and would also encourage to develop skill But the good facultys with above qualities is less and many faculties doesnt teach properly And we also had sir called vittal bhat in first year he also used to teach really good with telling is all developing things. Abou exams there are 8 sem and 2 internals in one sem and as concerned about clearing subject many student fail it and in my batch thers more than 10 student yeardrop are there

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho, etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
