Likes

The facility of design are well educated and have lot of knowledge and mainly all are from NID’s
Every semester there are design programs like DESIGN GURU DAY and JDW (Jaipur design week) for every even Semester

Dislikes

There is not much of unity and interaction between seniors
College is not providing extra curriculum activities
Cafeteria is available but is not in used

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is well set that it will teach everything to you from basic to developing everything on your own . Mostly modules are group based so you get to work on team's which will help you in future projects to help deal with difficult team mates

Internships Opportunities

Top recruiters are flipcart, TCS, yes bank, Swiggy , Wipro . The intership for BDes are available at JK tyre, JK PAPER. I'm in 2nd year so I'm not very known about the internship in detail. But intersip will be given depending on there work performance.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for interaction design annual is 3,30,000 the scholarships is divided into 3 criteria Criteria 1 25% if 90% in 12th Criteria 2 25% 90% or higher Criteria portfolio 25% 4+ score on a scale of 0-5

Campus Life

The overall experience in the college is good. The college held various functions like sabrang which is the annual grand function which consists of 3 days, it too much fun. Celebrity artists are invited eg anuv Jain, zaiden. For the people interested in sports every year there are competitions held called mukabla

Hostel Facilities

There are 4 hostels in total 2 for both girls and boys. The security provided is nice. 2 sharing room are provided both AC and non-AC. The hostel is not to far from the college.The mess food is good. They provide variety of options and every week it changes.

Admission

The education and the fees and the facility JKLU is providing in the given fee is awesome. The college is budget friendly the main reason to chose it and it provides scholarships. I also applied to NID but didn't get through

Faculty

The facility are sweet and are easily available to students if you need any help or guidance They will try there best to help you out. Amitanshu is one of the best facility. At the end of every semester there is a jury. Semester 1juru is easy related to other semester. It starts getting tough

Campus placements starts from 7th semester Many known brands and companies visited the college including amazon nyka snitch etc... Highest package was of 5200000 and average package is of 600000 No such idea about percentage of students getting placements Probably opening my own jewelry brand in the world market

Placement Experience:

So, the students are eligible for placements after the 8th semester, which is after they graduate. As for Fashion Communication (FC), the companies range from news channels like NDTV, to companies like Shopper's Stop, Magazine outlets like Vogue, and Media channels like MTV, almost every sub field requires FC students, given the vast area of our studies. You can get the proper details on Official NIFT FC website, since these are just the details from the top of my head. Also, I have to admit I'm not very well informed about the placement situations or the statistical numbers, but as far as I have heard from the seniors, almost every graduate leaves with a job, or chooses to get into freelancing. The highest package received was by one of my seniors, which is 24lpa, and the average is approx 15lpa. As for my plans after getting my degree, I'm still exploring, since I'm in sem 4, and only halfway thru my degree. I'm leaning towards either Fashion Journalism, Styling, PR and Brand Management or Creative Direction, but I'm still keeping my options open.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year. The white crow is one of the best company who takes students. Highest package is 30000-40000 and the lowest package is 15000-20000. 80% of students get placements. I want to further pursue my higher studies in masters in fashion designing.

My Days at MUJ

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum would prepare you 60% for the real world and real problems that are faced in actual fields because the basic things are taught once you go do a job the problems are quite different then what we think. We aren't taught what or do if the cutting team cut the pattern in the wrong orientation and now the flowers are facing down.

There are 90% of the placements for the students. The highest placement offered is 1300000. The package is very good and my plans after getting the degree are to do business with other companies and then open my own brand.

The honest review

I applied to rvce bangalore and COEP pune, I got selected in both but I wasn't getting the branches I wanted in them though they offer that we can upgrade the branches but it is very difficult and would not be so conventional. Also my family wanted me to stay in jaipur. And I can definitely say out of all the engineering colleges in jaipur, I would prefer JKLU as manipal's reputation we all know and the people there are least interested in studies and mostly are into drugs and all also not so safe campus. Jecrc and skit has a lot of chapri crowd there and are literally very crowded. Poornima was not even on my list. So yeah in jaipur, JKLU is the best. We can say I faced rejection from bits pilani as I was getting their mesra branch and not the pilani one as my score was not so good. Rvce and coep too I wasn't able to get the grades for CSE branch there. Admission process is very easy you just have to score 60 percentile in jee or more for entering jklu and submit all your documents and must passed your 10th & 12th with 60% and above....Read More
