Course Curriculum Overview
My course i.e. BCA provides vast learning area of programming. One can hone their skills very nicely due to the availability of accessible software and hardware labs during college hours. The curriculum and teachers work is very great here.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is offered in my degree program, BCA. If prepared with dedication one can easily get a package in companies like TCS,etc. Our seniors have secured good salary package and good experience so that they can advance much more.
Fees and Financial Aid
During admission I paid about 11k including everything. Since I didn't opt for hostel as I study in my hometown. But the hostel takes about 1.5k per month. Flexibility of getting an apartment is possible as the college is situated in a good area. Mess and PG are also available nearby. Caste Reservations are there. On an average people of different departments needs to pay 8k a year. Now there are courses that takes way less amount than that but on the upper limit the scales are about 11k to 12k. Scholarships like SVMCM and Kanyashree are provided to eligible students. The teachers are friendly and helpful above all.Lastly I think it's a good college if someone is willing to study in a Bengali background college(BCA is English based Course).
Campus Life
One annual fest occurrs by overall college faculty in which students take part individually. Otherwise programs like NCC, NSS, etc are offered. Indoor and Outdoor games are organised multiple times a year. Tournaments are also done on different sports. Cultural side is lacking behind meaning one who is good in dancing or singing, the college has no such clubs to hone their skill in such area.
Admission
I secured a good score in the CUET exam yet I chose to take addmission in this college as it is in my hometown and provides good education. The facilities here are top class and the admission process went very smoothly. The NIRF ranking of this college is also very good thus overall here education is provided with good quality.
Faculty
I already mentioned that almost all facilities are good to the students. Some have a bad temper but they don't misbehave with the students. All facilities are kind and helpful to the students of this college including teaching and non teaching staffs.
