Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is well designed and is industry based curriculum .Project based learning is more with theory and real time projects are made by students . Improvement should be in management system backlog exams are kept along with the recent semester exam students didn't get time to study .

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships can be done if u have skills and subjects are clear without any backlog . There are various companies which provide stipend and various roles are offered .depends on skills and communication .

Placement Experience

3

Placements are decent with average package of 5-6 lpa .Student must have atleast 7.5 CGPA without any backlog for placements most common criteria it varies from company to company .For internships present no backlogs should be there

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 310000 .tution fees and other include 310000 per year and examination fees varies semester to semester .Other than general category I think fees varies .student can apply for EWS if financial condition is no good.

Campus Life

4

Overall campus Life is ok ok .there is annual fest in college which is of 3-4 days usually. The facilities and class rooms are well equipped .but seating arrangement is like school .benches are not aligned upwards .like a slope .

Admission

Moreover the curriculum made me to choose this college .subjects they are teaching a re relevant to industry . The admission process is 50% in boards + Any entrance exam National level or State level maharshtra with no zero score .

Faculty

4

Faculty are more supportive with respect to studies .Faculties are expertised. There are some faculties who have pursued PhD and some pursued masters no doubt they are skilled . There is 1 CIE exam and 2 projects which overall carries 60 marks as internal and End semester written exam is of 40 marks . End semester lab exam is again a individual . Every exam should be independently passed by 40% marks .

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
