Likes
- The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
- We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
- It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!
Dislikes
- The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
- Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
- There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers
Course Curriculum Overview
As far as now, in first year all subjects are taught to every student. It's from second year onwards that you get to know your course more well enough, so far we are being taught Basic Electronics Engineering subject and finding out the basics of our course and what all it is going to be about and kind off having a picture in mind how would we plan ourselves out while tackling our stream/course
Internships Opportunities
So far..I haven't heard anything or haven't come across how do students go through that procedure but I do know that college does help students and tries to get them interships from companies..and so far as I have heard..which should be taken as grain of salt...is that the interships are quite basic and not that of high leading role
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for SC/ST is 88 thousand and with that they get to fill scholarship form from mahadbt. While for OPEN category the fees is 1,55,000 and there's no lab fees or registration fees. While students only have to pay certain amount when filling sppu exam form
Campus Life
It's only been a month and an half since joining the college but in that time I have noticed that the college people and the environment is very active and they are all in for activites and hosting any events.. recently they hosted engineering today event which was a grand success for the college and its students..then they hosted a garba event and now planning to do some art fun event in coming days so yea it's quite active here and you won't be bored at all (unless you are an introvert). They even hosted an football tournament which I would attach a photo below.
Admission
I applied for many colleges but due to not having Domesile half of them were just gone. Domesile played an important role while taking admission in engineering colleges specially being in Maharashtra. I applied for DY patil pimpri , akurdi then JSPM Tathawade. Somewhere I feel I did miss out on gaining more marks
Faculty
The faculty for all subjects are quite experienced and there is no teacher who isn't experienced at all. From 2024 there's a new pattern which has taken over and it's the introduction of CCE which has replaced the IN-Sem exams and there's one more thing added know as term-work which is of 25marks and if not passed in that then you have to repeat the semester
