Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is pretty easy, as per your branch's needs and requirements. It differs but basically the first year curriculum is same for around all branches. For me I think, the practical applications come too serious when we are in our 3rd year but i guess they should be given much importance earlier than being late. ALthough many projects are dine and made for all branches but it would keep a pace of subs if things are in a smooth flow from the start rather than rushing away. The exams are held in a proper gaps with proper timings. The mid sems are about 2hrs and the end sems are about 3 hrs for every branch.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are really great if youare interested for upskilling and the talent you pursure you can really showcase them. The companies are indeed good in offering, the stipend can vary from 12k-20k as the preferences. The projects you make and provide really make a difference to you than compared to others. So ofcourse there are opportunities but it depends if you win that chance or not. And also the college does give you off if you are in an internship offered form the college. SO you need noy worry for that all. The college is very cooperative and with growth upskilling faculties.

Placement Experience

5

Talking about placements, the highest placement was about 32lpa on campus and off campus some of our students got around 42lpa, but the average placements is 10-12lpa. It all basically depends on your cgpa, skills and the projects you make through your journey. The companies like tcs, microsoft, cognizant, infosys, wipro, hp, dell do visit the college for internship and job opportunities. Around 90% of the students get placed in good jobs and 20% land in high ability jobs if they perfome really well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for our batch of computer science engineering is 2,85,000 per annum. This includes the caution fees of 5k, admission fees .of 4k and counselling fee of 1k.Although the management quota fees is obviously much higher than general category. And those who are of other branches, civil and mechanical engineering costs are relatively lower than that of CSE. The only exam which is also acceptable for SOA is SAAT. The college does provide financial aid assistance for the students in need, but you need to go through a lot of verification before being accepted.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is good, the students the culture of the college is really good. But its you who has to decide what surrounding do you wanna grow in your college journey, what type of people you wanna live around. There are good and bad both but in the end its all your own choices which make a difference. The library is very very very nice, with an amaziing range of books and a personal computer area. They have every range of book , best you might be looking for. The livrary is fully air conditioned .The students run clubs like dancing, literary, poetry, english, singing, fashion, drama. There are even ncc candidates and groups. Many events are held and you can participate in them very joyfully. Sports clubs like cricket, bgmi, football, basketball, almost everything is present , you have great options to choose from.

Hostel Facilities

3

THe hostel facility is good. There are different rooms, for 3 ,for 4, for 2 and individual too. It all depends on what you pay is what you get for yourself. The mess is good, there are weekdays and weekends menu including variety of dishes, the menu even keeps changing every week. The breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner , all provided by the college, even on sundays there is special food coupons for the hostellers without mouth watering dishes present. The hostels for room of 4 are affordable as obvious as it is so its all depends on what u wanna take.

Admission

In my state, this goes under one of the best colleges undoubtedly. Every college has its pros and cons may it be any bestest of colleges. I did apply for other colleges in some other states but I felt its not worth it to pursue btech from faraway when i really have good option around me. Eventually at the end all that matters is how well you perform and how well you grow your skills. I didnt get rejections from other colleges, except one college whose entrance i couldnt clear well. The admission process is simple, just give SAAT exam, get above min.70% in 12th and thats all you need (for CSE) , for other branches above 50/60% is also acceptable. Any category of students can take the test may it be general, obc, sc, st etc.. The college is keen for wonderful students and the students too are keen for wonderful packages.

Faculty

5

There are plenty faculty for the ratio of students in each department. The faculties are well behaved and some even much friendly to the students. The best faculties, for me till now are 5, until my 4rd sem but i wouldnt prefer names. THere are also very strict faculties too but they do come later in your 3rd or 4th year. Its not likely to face them before that. There are 4 exams per year along with quizzes and assignments. Not many fail exams, the questions are pretty good and its rare to see people fail until they really dont study at all. Hence, cant blame the college fully in this matter.
