Likes

Faculties are very humble and we'll supportive
Infrastructure is well good enough and best in that area
Food stalls are there and hostel food is great there

Dislikes

Placement is little weak there but they are enhancing bow
Some faculties are not that good in teaching industry skills
Entrepreneurship is not that much supported there.

Course Curriculum Overview

From childhood I was a techy guy always into devops and current trends in tech. As I wanted to pursue a tech career I have choosen BCA in AU. The changes that college can do in their curriculum is to adapt industry relevant skills from an initial and master the young generation in that.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 360000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee is 120000 and 60000 per semester and the hostel fee per semester is 70000. Swami Vivekanand scholarship they can apply and registration fees is 10000. Wb student credit card and other student loans are entertained.

Campus Life

Overall experience is good, have learnt many things as mainly apart from curriculum of course I was the one in every co curricular activities be it event management or volunteering any event or organising one. Clubs are proactive there and overall everything is good.

Admission

I have applied to NSHM and then in Adamas and got selected by both but I have choosen Adamas as I was shifted with my family nearby so I have choosen AU. I have to give an entrance test and then have been selected as my marks was great and got some scholarship of 10k in 1sem only.

Faculty

For each course there are faculties assigned and for lab there are multiple faculties. Some faculties are really great and very much helpful but their course curriculum is good for the 4 year bca students who have joined this year,our batch have faced outdated course contents that as per me is not upto date.

Placement Experience:

1 internship company came for bca course forgot the name which was unpaid. 3-4 companies came for placement but only 1 out 26 students got placed. Companies like TCS, wipro, cognizant didn't came. Although they will give email for those companies.

Budget Best College For Students in Sonarpur

Placement Experience:

Mostly what i know, from 7th or 8th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. Wipro, TCS, etc are the companies who come to recruit students from this college. The highest package is like 15 LPA, the average package is around 6-8 LPA. 50-60% of students get placement. After the degree, if i get the job i would like to purse MCA, while doing my job.

Adamas University, The abode of learning

I had applied to IEM kolkata, The Neotia University and brainware university simultaneously. I chose this college due to the excellent placements. I didn't take admission to IEM kolkata as the fees were really high. Also, i didnt take admission in The Neotia University and brainware university due to their not-so-efficient placements.
