Remarks

Positive: Good at some aspects like faculty, teaching, sports maybe. Placements ok Negative: Far from city center.Traffic due to metro constructions. College Campus is not really that good (compared) but ok

Course Curriculum Overview

Currently since our college comes under VTU the course syllabus is somewhat outdated. The exam structure is changing year after years. Currently 60:40 is presented to freshers. But need little improvement in syllabus. Assignments are nightmares.

Placement Experience

Till now placements were good. Got a good opportunities in jobs. Around 200 students got placed . Companies like Capgemini, L&T , Cognizant, Planetganges, Mindtree ... and others came to our campus. No intrenships are provided by college. But mandatory by VTU to get 4 week Internship.

College Events

Not really a good college in this aspect. College fests are just Ok . Not really good. But Ethnic Day was good previous years. Enjoyed them. Holi was celebrated in collge it was kind of awesome. Other than that technical events held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees is of two types. One CET quota, other Management quota. Cet quota gets upto rs.80 thousands. Mang.. around 2.5 lakhs. Comed-K also 2.5L. Somewhat affordable compared to others but not really cheap at all.

Fees and Financial Aid

Student loan will be provided necessary documents have to be provided. Scholarships upto 25K are provided by Welfare of Backward classes dept. by govt. of karnataka. Also upto 55K is provided to ST/ST by govt.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities like technical events are held by each dept. Annual sports meet is conducted. Cultural fests are conducted. Sports like cricket, basketball, baseball, football, archery carrom tennis are played in campus.

Alumni/Alumna

According to me somewhat my seniors dosent even exixts. Seen them but not had really good contact. Some were helpful , kind . Not really our alumni network is good but maybe they are in the contactlist of college alumni.

The faculty of our college are good and supporting to students. Faculty are friendly. You can also find some strict Lecturers. Some give more time to us. They try to keep us updated regarding cousre , placements and also other aspects.

Likes

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

A good college life

Likes

The Campus is student friendly and interactive
Students engage with each other and help each other in academics
Faculty here is very good and they are expert in their fields and interact with students

Dislikes

As such I don't have anything that I dislike
Campus is bit small but it looks good and great
Overall campus is good with basketball court and football ground

Placement Experience:

• Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester itself • Companies like TCS, WIPRO , INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, HCL , IBM , AMAZON etc do visit college every year and a good amount of 80 to 90 offers are made per year • Highest package offered here is 13 lpa and the average lpa is around 5 to 6 lpa • Almost every student gets placed here with a good lpa • My plan is to get a good job from here and secondly preparing for higher studies

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
