Course Curriculum Overview

4

A very huge scope of horticulture in india influenced me to choose this course. The curriculum is best to make you ready for real-world experiences. Because of supportive professors we got the knowledge more practically than theoretically. University should restart the excursion for the tour of students to get familiar with the prestigious premises like iari, iihr, cpri etc. Sometimes exams are difficult but mostly it's easy and moderate. And always easy for those students who attended classes on regular basis.

Internships Opportunities

4

Syngenta, dehaat, mankind, Mahindra, and so many companies and roles offered under internship with stipend. And there is also so many foods and beverages companies who provides internships. And KVK which is situated in college campus also provide the internship and training to few good students.

Placement Experience

4

Placement process starts from Last semester only. Amul, VNR seeds, Mahindra, skott, swaraj, edutech, idbi bank, etc. 7 lakh was highest package this year. 5 to 10% students got placed. I'm placed in VNR seeds.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester tution fee is 50,000. yearly fee is 1 lakh including every fee like exam fee, registration fee, etc. There is a concession for economically weak students and Christian students. Scholarship is also available.

Campus Life

4

Various fest is organised in campus, like experenza cultural fest, baagwan cultural fest, international conferences etc. Every books and journals easily available in our centeral library. For every faculty there is a smart class. Sports and extra curricular activities offered by campus is better than any colleges in Uttar pradesh. Annual athelete meed held every year. There are so many clubs along with NCC. For example - SHUATS photography clus, nirmana club, CHRD, cultural club, NSS is also there.

Admission

I had applied for BHU and SHUATS only. But I got SHUATS and I am happy because this is the 1st Agriculture institute of Asia, established in 1910 before independence Yes I got rejected from BHU because I got 400 something rank with EWS kota. But there is only 250 seats was available in BHU. And I got good rank in SHUATS, So, I got admitted in SHUATS easily. SHUATS conducts their own examination for addmission. Cutoffs got high is SHUATS but exam is easy to moderate.

Faculty

4

Faculties is very good and supportive. Faculty of agriculture and biotechnology is good. We have to give 2 internal tests, mid term exam and a final end term exam along with viva-vose. Very few students got failed in mid term and maximum of them got failed for incomplete tests for not attending any internal tests.

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
