SHUATS B.Sc {Hons.} Horticulture: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to SHUATS is determined by an entrance exam held in May, with results out by mid-June. Admission involves offline counseling in early July, based on merit rank and course availability, with final enrollment by July 22. The institution is ICAR accredited, offering a six-month academic semester. The faculty is a mix of young and experienced professionals, many with Ph.D. degrees, providing quality education. The daily schedule includes nine lectures from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Students are assessed through internal tests, mid-term, end-term exams, and viva-voce. Program fees for Horticulture and Agriculture are approximately Rs. 50,000 per semester, and the annual hostel fee is about Rs. 20,000. Payments can be made via cash, cheque, or online, with penalties for late submissions. Scholarships are available for deserving students, including those from underprivileged backgrounds. The campus hosts renowned companies like VNR Seeds, ITC, and Mahindra for recruitment. Placement rates vary, with 10% to 20% of students securing positions immediately, while the overall rate is 50% to 60%, with the highest salary package between 7-8 lakh per year.
