What Students Say

Likes

Teaching is Good in my college. Most of the professors have hands on exposure to every experimental methods based on their field of teaching
Decent Dress code been Implemented. The college had strict dress code, But Fairly it was exercised last year, Allowing T shirts and jeans with some restricted allowance
Placements are decent with more than 80% students who opted for placement get placed

Dislikes

Staffs hesitate in providing lecture notes and ppts. They only provide the lecture notes at the neck of the moment Only for reference and will ask us to study from books (This will be primarily deployed from 2nd year)
The Procedure of getting OD form in some departments is a major hectic process and demands a lot of time and energy from us
Lack of proper communication between staffs and management

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum highly focuses on industrial and handsome on aspects For courses like Biotechnology You get a minimum of 3 to 4 Laboratories per semester with theory cum practical courses combined

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 185000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are good in my college More than 85% of the students who opt for placement get placed with Decent packages Last year An IT student got a offer from service now for 42 LPA Circuit Branches get very good placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The Total fee for first year day scholar who joined through Engineering Counselling process Will get a fee of around 1.85 lakhs and management students will get fee around 2.2 lakhs to 2.3 lakh And donation depending on Course If you have scored a cutoff above 170 The Donation fee maybe Returned to you And the First year fee will be reduced by around 40000 for the second year ( Minus the Record and Observation notebooks) First Graduate can be available and it reduces fee by 25,000 for each year Various Scholarship are provided based on merit, Merit cum profile based etc..

Campus Life

There are many clubs in my college actively involving in district level and state level You need to complete a mandatory 80 hours personality character development (PCD) training in any of the recognised clubs in oru college to get degree completion certificate Overall college campus life is good

Admission

I choose this college because of it's constant top 10 ranking among anna University affiliated engineering colleges for a long time This college is also less strict compares to other colleges and placements are good

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is on average of 1 to 55 The Grading system is based on relative grading system which makes little more difficult to score good cgpa And You get 3, 50 marks internal exam named FAT, a Model Practical exam and a Practical exam before Semester exam For FAT Two exams will be conducted per day With study holiday in between one day

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . As far off noe, 98%percentage of students who opt for placements get placed. I want to get placed after finishing my degree.

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

I got this college through Conselling quota based on Merit.I've had put some colleges before placing this college . They were College of Enginnering Guindy, MIT(Madras Institute of Technology) and then SSN (Shiv Nadar University). I couldn't get into these colleges since my cutoff was comparatively low than what was required to get into this college.Then I had my college in the option list and the seat got alllocated . Other than counselling and management,our college doesnt conduct any entrance exams like VIT or SSN.
