Curriculum prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits.Teaching manually as well as sending valuable content in watsapp group,helps us to revise what we have learnt.And many internships and placements held 3rd and 4th years

The placements excellent ???? most placements have topped in mechanical engineering .The top package inr 17.3lpa in 2024.And average package is 5 lakh per annum.And median package is 7.5 lakh per annum.

Iam b.tech 1 year student in osmania university of college of engineering.I have joined this university through eamcet exam. I got free seat in this university.And also spot admission also available in this university ,approx.fees 50k per year

Campus Life

This college consists of 2 libraries playgrounds workshops for different departments chemistry labs drawing labs auditorium amphitheatre and also oxygen parks in campus.Every festival celebrated here.

Admission

I have choosen this college because this was oldest known as nizams college .And top university in Hyderabad.As one of my neighbour studied here and got placed in ongc foundation. He has suggested me this college.

Faculty

Faculty members are very experienced in my college and very interactive with all the students .Almost all the faculties staff are post graduated . Encourages in participation of programs ,sports and clubs.

Likes

library is superbb and very large with equipped AC and other things
No restrictions on exit and entry in the main gate

Dislikes

too much bushes and vacant area which could be utilized to increase infrastructures.
less lightning facilities and too much darkness in many campus areas
mess food can be improved ,they should provide separate veg and non veg

Placement Experience:

From Third semester onwards students are eligible for Campus Placement Google,Microsoft,Nvidia,Qualcomm,Amazon,Paytm. Highest Package is around 42 Lpa and average is around 20 Lpa Around 80 % students are Placed. I will try my best in Campus Placements

Placement Experience:

To be frank enough the placement of IIT is very excellent. Not only did the industrial leader visit the campus but IIT Hyderabad also promotes start-ups to take part in the recruitment drive. That gives us an opportunity to be part of a startups group. Companies like Accenture Japan, Google, Microsoft, MTX, Rakuten, TSMC, Tech Mahindra visit the campus. The highest placement package during our batch was 55 LPA from Google and the average package was around 17.50 LPA

Remarks:

Research wise not that great, the curriculum is more oriented towards the industry needs, and the funding for research is very less from the government compared to other big institutions in the country

Remarks:

College is one of the best in India for studing biotechnology and bioinformatics. Placements are mostly based on student initiatives. College however provides all necessary support, help and connections.

Remarks:

I heard they always force the students to pay the fees in time. Some times we feel egoistic, aggressive behavior among the students and lectures. In case of any adhoc work or when lectures doesn't responds in time for days together we will see impatience between the students and management. During our period, couple of lectures are changed because they are not able to co-operate with the students.
