- We had wide variety of subjects.It was enchanced according to the needs of present pattern . Our HOD was an asset the wasy she taught our subjects were amazing we could understand in one go
- We had extracurricular activities alot more to participate and learn alot of new things. Explore variety of choices
- Students union, various clubheads were students, even i was a clubhead which helped to learn alot explore mu leadership qualities and enhance my skills
Dislikes
- We could have had more better staffs. For some subjects we could have had better staffs
- Better infrastructure could be there as more water logging would happen during heavy rains
- Better parking facilities during the fest as clg student from other clgs could not park
Course Curriculum Overview
Certain subjects were tough but it was useful those subjects are every important to avail a job alot of subject were quite applicable in various ways..In business point of view would apply subjects like Operational Research was very useful
Placement Experience
There is placement offered in our college.. In final yr we had a placement program lyk for all students and then there is placement cell and we need to pay 100 rupees.. Many of them got placed in various compines in good packages. My plans r lyk i wanna try out government xams so i didn't join the placement cell
Fees and Financial Aid
BA Economics is from Govt aided. Yearly fees changes for frst yr it was 7000 second yr it was around 6000 and 3rd yr it was 5000 apart from that we had to pay examination fee around 1700 per semester and only in final sem we had to pay 2700 including the certificate and all. Apart from that we had scholarship option for SC ST and BC from govt which varied for everyone and also some students can avail Scholarship in Management Quota and also The Topper received amount for overall sem mark and also in single subject if they had highest mark it was recognized and given credit during farewell.
Campus Life
The biggest cultural fest was aarambh and maithiri and shristi the whole college would look colorful many stalls will be put up it would be awesome.. The rest there would be various programs in the clg many clubs like YRC,CSS, WSC, E-Cell and Various department would could programs.. Velicham, Women's day are some prominent fest
Admission
I appiled in various other college too like MCC, Stella Maris College, WCC, MOP vaishnava, Anna Adharsh College For Women, I got admission in Anna Adharsh, MOP, WCC for a different course not economics.. Acc to caste reservation(OC) maybe i had to have more than 95 percentage so maybe i didn't get admission in MCC and Stella Maris.. And comparatively fee was affordable in ethiraj so i opted it.. For my course we had to have more 90 percent of OC and it decrease reservation wise. Eligibility is commerce in 12th but even they have opted bio maths and have a decent score they may get admission.
Faculty
My clg faculty members were quite gud.. Lyk they were frndly and approchable there were rigid staffs too but comparatively everyone were approachable.. Overall teaching is good there were very experienced teachers.. Though few were freshers others we very experienced we could understand easily.. Every sem there were different subjects and during our batch syllabus was updated which was very helpful and it made many into jobs... The exams would be conducted every sem we had alot of 6 sem and the marking system was grade type we would receive marksheet every sem. And consolidated marksheet after final sem
