Likes
- This college is so good. They give COLLEGE like exposure as well as school like discipline. They'll help you out in everything, if you're weak in academic you can take doubt classes and teachers are willing to teach you after lecture also.
- Events and Functions are more frequent as compare to other college in this region. Faculty supports students for various types of clubs, performances n special events.
- Like every other good college we also have quite good cafeteria and library... no one will stop you.
Dislikes
- I personally don't like trip culture here, tey do not organize good trips frequently... if you're a travelling lover then you're going to be disappointed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The industry level knowledge and techniques are the key aspects of curriculum. In Comp. Science we learn various practical and theory subjects. Most of them are well designed for practical uses in industry. There are some practical exams also so you could be ready for industry like problems. Adter 2 minor sessional exams there is an final theoretical and practical exam. Which gives exposure of job like environment. The subject are not gery diificult if you're really into this but yeah it needs to be study hard.
Internships Opportunities
In 4th sem we got two months of holiday for internship. Most of internship are provided by college in delhi, gurugram etc. Faculty provide every support to get you internship so you can get industry level exposure.
Placement Experience
There is 2 months of time given for internship during 4 sem. So you can be ready for industry level problems. They provide placements to mote than half students of college. Wipro, TCS, Infosys, UHBVN etc. Like companies visit here for on campus placement. This college got a placement cell where you can go and ask for any problem with you for placement. I am thinking to got a good job after degree here and then go abroad for masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
I belong to general category, I'm paying 80k annualy. All type of extra charges are included. There is slight increase in fees every year but it's not even noticable. The scholarship are also provided for other categories like SC/ST can get a 100% fee waiver. My all same category batchmates paying same as me (80k).
Campus Life
College organizes Fresher's, Teacher's day, Independence Day function and many more cultural events every year. College have a well cafeteria and library. Lib. Got a wide range of books, journals, magazines also, but mostly are engineering books but you can also get encyclopedia and other famous books here. Classroom are equipped with smary classes and projectors for lectures. Sports are a great aspect of college life hete. They got basketball, cricket, volleyball etc. Inter college and in college tournaments are also organized time to tim for sports lovers. May types of clubs are organized by students like photography, content creation, singing and dancing and blood donations camp.
Admission
I wanted to take admission at DCRUST. but i got low marjs in jee main so i couldn't take it. That's why in my region i take admission here because of it's academic results and good infrastructure. The admission process is not very hard here. You need to have a little good marks in 12th class. If you've given Jee mains then you can definitely take admission here.
Faculty
The faculty is really good. I mean it. They'll do anything they can to teach you. They are very approachable. If you want to learn, they give doubt classes also. On some holdidays, they provide online lectures. In a sem. There are 4 units of every subject to study. There are 2 minor sessional exams before final exam. Teacher's are well managed so they cover sylllabus way before exams. And they do revise also. 20-40% students got supplements in exam but teacher's try to teach again so the student can clear the exam next time.
